I, unfortunately, had a bad experience at Pecor Auto. I bought winter tires from them and had them mounted on my car. Eventually, spring rolled around and I had my all season tires put back on my wheels. A few days later, I noticed that a tire that had a bleb on the side. I assumed I had hit a pot hole and had it replaced. Then a few weeks later i noticed another bleb on a different tire. I got a little suspicious and went back to Pecor and told him about the problem. I noticed that the inside rim of the wheel was all torn up, and the steel belt exposed and damaged. He didnt apologize. He simply said that it occasionally happens even when you lube the wheels. I believed him and bought a new tire. After he replaced that one, I noticed that a third tire had a bleb (this one was on the inside wall so it was difficult to see). Upset, I went back. He stating again that it wasnt his fault and instead replacing the tire, would only sell me a cheaper tire. I felt that he should have replaced the tire and was upset that he didnt check the other tires to see if they were damaged after replacing the first tire. By the time I got the third tire replaced, I had been driving with blebs on my tires for 3 weeks, which is dangerous.

Ive been going to Pecor for years. Theyre incredibly trustworthy and competent. How many other mechanics do you that will recommend another shop for certain services? Steve always points me in the direction and goes the extra mile to save me money. My favorite mechanic of all time!

The guy was very helpful he looked at a car for me for free. He didnt put it up on a lift but he did a visible ground check and he helped me to avoid buying a car that couldnt be fixed. He knows his stuff and I would trust him!
