SO, I guess I should have further researched these crooks at Connecticut Auto Wholesalers before buying a car from them. After making a phone call about a “flawless” Audi TT convertible listed on craigslist, I decided to take the 2 hour trip to go see the car. When I arrived, the car wasn’t as described, but for an older car, with the negotiated repairs, it seemed to be worth the money. I was given an “Auto Check” printout showing it to be a one owner vehicle. After the car was delivered, I did my own Carfax report, only to find that it was in fact a 2 owner and had been in an accident. I was told that the front faring was on order and that I would be installed prior to delivery. The same with a shifter boot that was torn on the interior. The car was promised for a Monday delivery on a flatbed to my home. After numerous calls and texts to “Joanne” the car never did show up on Monday. At 9 pm after being jerked around for the entire day and told that it “would be coming up tonight” they finally admitted that they were not bringing it as promised and it wouldn’t be until the following day. The car showed up while I was at work. It WAS NOT brought up on a flat bed. They drove it up. The front faring was not replaced and it appears that an amateur did a shoddy fiberglass or Bondo repair and then painted it with a spray can. No matching color and the paint is so thin that you can see the repair work through it. When it was delivered, my wife was told by Rob, that “the shift boot was an Audi part, and being shipped directly to you.” It has been a month, and there is no sign of the boot. I assume they never ordered it. I have sent several messages to Joanne who sold me the car, and keep being told things like “it will be to you on Wednesday”. Add all this to the fact that on the initial drive after delivery, there are 2 warning lights on the dash. The Traction control and Air Bag Lights were on after the delivery and NOT WHEN THE CAR WAS TEST DRIVEN. After having the car hooked up to a computer, it was determined that there is a bad airbag computer and an error with the brake pressure switch. Due to the airbag light, this car can’t even pass inspection in Massachusetts. Their answer? “Take it to an Audi dealer to have the lights shut off.” Not an option, as the parts need to be replaced before the errors can be cleared. I am looking at over $1000 in repairs to make the car even road legal. I was told that the car would need to pass inspection in CT prior to delivery and I assume that this never happened as it showed up with 2 spider webs in the windshield as well. My opinion? STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE AS YOU CAN. WHEN THE DEAL LOOKS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE IT PROBABLY IS! I REGRET MY PURCHASE. EMPTY PROMISES AND NO CUSTOMER SERVICE WHAT SO EVER AFTER THE MONEY CHANGES HANDS. HOPEFULLY THIS WILL KEEP SOMEONE ELSE FROM MAKING THE SAME MISTAKE I DID.

Very nice family owned place, Everyone is very friendly and helpful! had a great experience I was looking for a jeep Cherokee reasonably priced and quite honestly this was one of the only ones I could find in my price range. I brought my own mechanic and they had no problem with him looking at it in the garage! There were no extra fees they were completely honest with me and explained everything I had a question about. Location is actually quite small but was rather busy when I was there and still got everything done within hour or so! has a lot of personality and makes you feel comfortable, the people there seemed like they go out of there way for there customers and I liked that. I cant speak for the negative reviews here but I certainly dont think it reflects the guys I dealt with. will buy here again

My boyfriend bought a truck from here in November 2014 and everything went great. We returned to buy another vehicle, and after 3 trips (an HOUR drive each way), ended up walking away. Every car we liked would get "sold back to the auction" and when they finally had a vehicle we liked they didnt want to honor the deal we had made with my car I was trading in. They also claimed my car I was trading in had lots of issues, which is not the case and I am still driving it. Every time I called it was like they had never talked to me before! They also said that the lender wouldnt approve me because I lived in Massachusetts, but the same lender sent me a letter saying I was approved but the dealer didnt act on it. They very much wasted our time and I would NOT recommend anyone do business with them!!

I just purchased a 2002 Honda about 3 to 4 weeks ago. They didnt even charge me $3,000 for the car and I have had no issues with it. I love it! My last car cost me almost $5,500 and I had nothing but problems. They kindly bought my car off of me that could barely drive up there to make the deal work with my new Honda! Not only were these guys very kind and professional to me, but they really understood my situation and helped me get out of the hole I was in to move on. Thank you Connecticut Auto Wholesalers! I will be more than happy to refer all my friends and family to you and come back for myself when I am ready. 100% Satisfied

Cheaters! Please dont go to this place. I went here a few weeks ago for buying an Accent. After fixing a price, the dealer agreed to register the vehicle the next day and fix some issues in the car by then. I added this vehicle to my insurance(paid 2 weeks premium) and faxed it to them. The next day, they said they needed buy some parts and the vehicle will be ready in few days. But eventually they stopped picking up the phone and apparently the sold the vehicle for maybe a $100 more! Not trustworthy!

I am sorry I had to even choose one star!!!! You would be better off shooting yourself in the foot rather then buying a car from these thiefs..... Bought a car from them and it WILL NOT pass inspection, I gave them serveral chances to fix it. When they figured out they were upsidedown on the car they refused to fix the probelms and now I have a car that wont pass inspection...... PLEASE DO THE RIGHT THING AND DONT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS.............RUN!!!!!!

This place is nothing but a joke. They lie, they cheat... This is the only dealer that i have ever been too where i was threatened with MY LIFE! There work is shady. They will take full advantage of you. All there cars are gross. You would think they would clean the cars, Nope. to much work.. I would run away from this place. They have been reported to the better business bureau!!! I really hope this helps make you think twice about going to this shop.
