I recently visited this store to look at couches for a living room set in my house. While I was sitting in one of their massage chairs a worker ( I believe his name was Ray ) came over and asked me if I was with someone. He said it as if I was a child who was here with his mother. I then told him that another worker had already assisted me. After that he told me " just try not to break anything " and walked away. His comments towards me were rude and outrageous! Customers should be treated with respect and should not be treated so rudely! He acted as if I was jumping up and down on the massage chair trying to destroy it. I was simply sitting down and testing the furniture out. If the piece of furniture could break by just sitting in it then it must be a crappy chair. I will never buy furniture from this store because of the horrible treatment from this worker Ray. I would also like to add that I happily bought my living room set from a different store. I recommend avoiding this store at all costs because they have the worst service and they are very over priced too.

We are having the WORST experience ever with the LaZBoy store at/near Riverpark in Fresno. We purchased a pricey Love Seat. After only 2 weeks of use, it was obvious the padding in the Love Seat was defective causing "dents" where legs (and head) goes, causing the fabric pattern to distort. LaZBoy was notified immediately of the problem (end of JANUARY 2014). They sent someone out to inspect and that employee told us that this "happens all the time". It is now APRIL and problem is not resolved. My husband spoke to the store manager and all he would say is "we can not return a custom order". Weve called the service dept numerous times, they say the same thing, then wont return our calls. I found out recently that 2 people I know are having similar problems with this store. Their product is sub-standard and their SERVICE IS TERRIBLE. We paid a lot of money for this furniture and its not right that the store does not accept returns on defects. Isnt their a lemon law with furniture? If not, there should be! BUYER BEWARE!

My wife and I went into the River Park store this afternoon, fully intending to buy another Lazyboy recliner. Instead, and Ill not bore you with specific details, I was met with an obnoxious salesman who wouldnt leave us alone to look for a chair on our own. Having owned two Lazyboy chairs in the past, and having spent numerous years spending free time in one in a firehouse, I had a pretty solid idea as to what I was seeking in a new recliner. Needless to say, the sales guy just didnt get it and was offended when I asked him to leave us to look on our own. Its really too bad... Weve had such good luck with their chairs in the past and to have such a screwed up sales staff kinda makes us want to look elsewhere. Lazy boy is still very high on my list of choices, just not this store and its staff in Fresno. My wife and I will continue to look for a new rocker/recliner, even if Ive got to purchase one from a store outside of Fresno. Big mistake dude. Huge!

We were greeted by Shana promptly who listened to what we wanted and pointed us in the right direction. She came back often to check on us and point us to other things. She showed us demonstrations of upgrades without being pushy. My husband and I lack imagination in the design of our living room and where furniture should go and we mentioned to her that we would like to try something different. She offered to come to our home and do a design consult. We hit the jackpot with her! She has designed a wonderful living room for us with furniture we never thought we would have and we increased our seating from 6 people to 7 people and it looks more spacious than what we had before. INCREDIBLE! We are so happy with Shana and the quality of LaZBoy products, that we are now looking at dining room and bedroom furniture. I wouldnt go anywhere else!

Walked in with cash to purchase a $699 recliner we loved. The only thing we wanted was to have it that day. We met with Alex, a rude and condescending sales associate, who refused to work with us on getting our chair that day. Instead, she insisted we wait 3 weeks to get it. That would not have been so bad if she wasnt so rude about it. Alex: "You can drive to San Jose to pick it up tomorrow" Me: "We do not want to drive all the way down there to pick up our chair." Alex: "People always want it that day but refuse to drive there themselves. Then you are willing to wait." We ended up going to Lifestyle Furniture, and had the opposite experience. Professional sales people who worked with us, and actually ended up taking some money off the sales price. And we got it that day. Great chair.

I bought a lazyboy massage recliner there... the chair padding went flat right away so that it was painful to even sit in it. They sent someone out who added more padding to it... again it lasted about 2 weeks and again was unfit to sit in much less get a massage. The repair guy came out a 2nd time... and it was terrible once again. Lazyboy and they let me trade in the chair fo for a more expensive chair (I paid the difference in cost). It did the same exact thing.... we ended just throwing the chair out. it was useless and so is LAZYBOY! I would never by another thing from them.... I later heard from another friend that they had a similar experience with their couch and sofa they bought. DO NOT buy from Lazyboy the materials they use are NOT holding up.

I had a great experience! Alex and everyone there was very nice. I found a chair that I loved, and yes, I had to wait while they custom built it (I got the upgraded leather), but Alex explained what the lead time would be, and the chair arrived before it was promised. My chair is beautiful, comfortable, and exactly what I wanted. I am going back soon to look at a table that caught my eye..... =)
