Well currently I am using a walker due to an illness and went in with the sole intent to purchase a sofa. After I walked around the whole store a guy named Brian came back from lunch. He was nice enough but could tell was the only one willing to help me. Even the girl Cat who took my payment seemed reluctan she would walk away to do other things instread of being polite and finishing my transaction. She then called Brian back to explain the agreement to me as she did not want to. Not a sole said hello or offered to help until I stared the guy down. So sad that the service was so bad there. I guess if you dont look or dress a certain way forget about it. I was slightly bummed I even made a purchase but at that point was way to tired to shop around. I think the least a company should offer is good service when your offering service. Do not base it off a persons disability or the way they may be dressed. Will for sure look elsewear in the future for furniture needs. Adding on: 5/7/2017 The store manager called me after reading this review. That was a good step because he is aware of the experaince. Does not change what happened but the call was appreciated. I know people have bad days at work and working retail for 17 years myself! Long story short we will see how the delivery goes and then I will post an update to sum up the whole experience. For now I will add a star for the follow up. 5/16/17 Final update: accepted delivery today and the drivers where super nice guys. Even gave them a couple gatoraids because I know thats hard work. Sadly what I did not know is as one guy assembled my loveseat the other was stuffing the trucks trash into my apartment garbage bins over filling them. After they where gone I got a hard call from the rental office. I called the store manager and explained the situation and of course this poor guy has taken hits from me left and right but I offered to email the photo to him and it came back undeliverable. At this point I am over this whole mess and bumped them back down to one star. It would take an act of god for me to decide to shop this company again and thats to bad.

July 1st, 2017 I went into Ashleys Furniture store super excited to buy my kids first bedroom set. I ordered a twin bed with a trundle along with a dresser. I was told it would take 2-3 weeks to deliver. Delivery day came(Wednesday, July 25th), I was at work so my husband received the order. When I got home, I only found the bed and trundle delivered and no dresser. The delivery guy said they only had the bed and no dresser. Right away I called only to find out that the dresser was not even in their distribution center. I was worried because on the day I ordered the bed, I had paid $200 for delivery and set up! Now they told me it would take another 2-3 weeks for the dresser to arrive. The lady I spoke to from the distribution center said she had no idea why they would set up a delivery date if all the order was not ready. They never told me the bedroom set would come separate. Now I was worried that Id be charged another $200 for this next delivery. After waiting and waiting, They finally set up to deliver for Tuesday, August 8th and I would not be charged. A few days ago I received a call confirming delivery date for AUGUST 11th! I let them know right away that they had said it would be delivered on the 8th. The lady then said ok. Its August 6th so now I am more worried then excited to see what will happen the 8th. Will i be receiving the dresser with no mirror? Will they even show up? I am so sick of my whole experience already and I havent even made my first payment! This is my first purchase through Ashleys and it has not been good at all. I am really upset. All I wanted was to order a nice bedroom set for my boys to enjoy. This was a big deal for the whole family since I have had them sleeping in my queen sized bed with me since they were born. Honestly, I just want to pay off this bedroom set and be done with this store. I am so worried about what else could go wrong. To be continued...

To be honest, I was a bit hesitant to give Ashley furniture Home Store a chance. Most of the ratings here are really bad. After visiting almost every furniture store in Fresno, I decided to go with Ashley Furniture because I felt that they had a wider selection and many coordinating pieces. I was looking for dining and living room pieces that went well together because I have an open floor plan. Also, the furniture pieces looked so much nicer than what some of the other stores had to offer. Ruth Campos was my sales associate and she was awesome! She was very patient and helpful. For now on she will be my go to! The furniture came within 3 weeks as stated on my invoice. Mind you, we had Christmas and New Years within this time frame and my furniture still arrived on January 6th as intended. Now, keep in mind, communication is key! I called the store a day after purchasing my furniture and ask for a tentative delivery date. I was told that it was scheduled for January 6th but one item was back ordered so I was looking to receive my furniture mid February because of that one item... An ottoman. So I asked if they could deliver everything that will be ready by January 6th and I can pick up the ottoman when it finally comes in. I guess they like to deliver everything in one shot but they are willing to work with you. You just have to ask. The delivery men were nice and got straight to work at setting everything up. They even made sure to wipe their feet as they came in and out (It was a rainy day). I did indeed make sure all of our valuable items were out of sight (due to other posts about theft) prior to their arrival. I have no complaints. I would definitely recommend Ashley Furniture Home Store to family and friends and I plan on returning for future purchases! Im really loving our new furniture!

Salesperson was okay. Sold me the mattress I wanted, wasnt pushy. Neglected to tell me about all the fees that are tacked on to the price tag. Delivery was the nightmare. Salesperson told me 2 weeks to get mattress, a month later I get a phone call asking what day they can deliver. Distribution Center (DC) could not even narrow it down to a four hour window until 2 days before. So make sure you take a day off of work just to have a mattress delivered. Distribution center appointment maker was horrible at answering questions. I "requested" a morning appointment 3 weeks in advance which they denied. They cited that their DC was in Visalia and they make their routes on zip code and what is most efficient for them....aka not the customer. Not very accomodating. Glad I tested them with a mattress first, will be taking the rest of my furniture purchase elsewhere.
