My girlfriend and I went to Mor on a whim one Saturday and the actual in-store experience wasnt terrible. Polite help without being overbearing. However, thats about where the good stops and the terrible starts. First, our sales associate (I wont name names here, because I think thats rude) didnt really know a whole lot about the furniture we were looking at. He was admittedly new, however, I feel like if you dont know, bringing in someone who does would be good. So, we sit down to start our purchase through their 80s era DOS system and things are going OK. It takes a while because our guy is new, which isnt a big deal, Ive been new, not a major issue. But when he shows us our order for review, one of the items on our invoice looks incorrect (there were two styles and the one listed is NOT the one we wanted). We point it out and he assures us that after were done he will take care of it with someone else in the store. Great! So we have our order placed with a promised delivery of 9 days later. Not too shabby! Sorry, it was shabby. After four or so days, my girlfriend gets a call (another joy, since I was the main number and she was the backup, yet she received all communications unless I called) that says our order has to be pushed back two days (Monday delivery to Wednesday). Ok, not a big deal. Well, three days after that (one week after our original order was placed if anyone is keeping score) I get another call that says our order has to be pushed back ANOTHER week. At this point I am getting kind of upset. I dropped over two grand on furniture and they cant figure out a delivery date for me? So after many calls we finally discover that our sales associate NEVER FIXED OUR ORDER so he ended up ordering us the wrong item even after we made sure he knew of the error. So the piece we want is back-ordered FIVE more weeks. Simply amazing. I honestly cant fathom why its so difficult to nail down deliveries, especially after reading so many other customers complaints about the same thing. We ended up just cancelling our order and getting a refund. And let me tell you, that was the easiest part of this entire transaction. To me, that speaks louder than almost anything else. I doubt we will ever return. Edit: FINALLY received our order (something I hadnt added was that when I cancelled I got a call a couple days later and decided to keep the entertainment center because we really liked it). So only four plus weeks on. Best part was that they called roughly ten minutes before delivery (thankfully I happened to be home yesterday, not sure what I would have done had I been at work), they then put all furniture in my driveway in big boxes and left. Overall, this experience has left a terrible taste in my mouth and I will echo my previous sentiment that I wont return and I will urge others to avoid them as well.

This is our first and last purchase with Mor. We purchased a couch and love seat, the first upset we were told it would be a month until we would have them delivered, we accepted this, it was close to the holiday. 2-3 days later the warehouse called and pushed the delivery back further, that angered us we paid a additional 119.99 for delivery, this was a unreasonable amount of time. I called and asked if we could get the delivery charge refunded and pick them up they agreed, so we did on 12/26/16 when we got them home I noticed a support bar missing from the recliner portion, I couldnt call the store because they only have the call center # on every piece of paper we were given, the call center asked for pictures because the warehouse didnt believe us, in fact said "it wasnt possible! " needless to say he ate his words with pictures. We also noticed our love seat sat to high in the front it wont glide or recline it sits almost 6 in from the floor in the front. I take a picture and go to the store, show the sales person we then go look at the floor model. She states "theres definitely something wrong" we call customer service and they agree to replace it, delivering on the 8th of January, we get a call pushing it to the 28th and telling us we have to pay a delivery fee. I havent even been reimbursed for the first delivery fee. When I called customer service, I asked for a manager, she claimed to be a supervisor I explained the problem she was argumentative which in turn caused me to get infuriated. I asked for a manager several times she said she could take care of the problem or she could have a manager call me. I told her I wanted BOTH! I dont feel like I am dealing with a nice furniture store, I feel like Im fighting with a discount furniture shop. Honestly if I could Id make them come get these and go somewhere where else! Very unhappy with the customer service!

I was shopping for a new sofa and love seat recently (July 2016) when I came upon the Mor Furniture website. In general I will not even look at something/place with bad reviews, and this place seemed to have quite a few bad reviews. I had already decided on two sets of furniture prior to visiting Mors. One really nice full grain leather set at Ashley Furniture for $2,850, and one fake leather set (Leather Air) at The Furniture Warehouse for $1,650. Both were really nice sets but neither exactly what I wanted, full grain leather reclining sofa and a glider reclining loveseat with a drink holder console. On the way to Reno to pick up whichever set I ultimately decided on, I skeptically stopped at Mors. They had a full grain leather set that met my requirements exactly. It was 33% off and I paid $1,407 total, including taxes. You cant touch that. Yes, full grain leather, believe me I know the difference in feel. The showroom easily rivals Ashley and isnt as crammed together. They provide drinks and popcorn too, nice touch. Very polite and did not hound me as I walked through the store, they simply asked if they could help, which I declined until I saw something I liked. Very good experience! If you have any confidence in yourself, give them a try.

My couch broke just after a year! Half of the couch is sitting on the ground due to the frame being broken. I contacted Mor and was told sorry its after a year (1 week) and its not warrantied. But the couch has a LIFETIME warranty. After 6 MONTHS, of me calling back over and over again they agreed to send someone. Five minutes before the guy was supposed to show up we get a call saying sorry we canceled your appt. we wont come out until you pay us $50. So waiting and waiting for a call from the Manager never came... I called again and again then I was told that the couch and the manufacture are out of business so sorry.. Huh? I called again today and now was told that the couch is discontinued but I will have to take my problem up with the manufacture. I thought that they were out of business??? SO now I am being told that even if we were to pay them the service fee they wouldnt be able to do anything for us anyway because the couch is discontinued and the parts are not available. So you were going to charge me knowing that you couldnt even get the parts? So now I have the manufactures number that was supposedly out of business and was told so sorry. :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( CROOKS!!!
