Love JoAnns, all my wedding bouquets, boutiniers and corsages are made from the roses and flowers and craft supplies from your store, we had 1 glitch, one day a couple of your associates were on the rude side and I was leaving your store pretty upset, thinking I was going to have to tear what boutiniers I had started apart and start over, however we ended up driving from Mesa, AZ, to Peoria, AZ, about 60 miles there and back, and got what this store didnt have, even though upon our arrival in the Peoria store, the girl I spoke to failed to go put the products I ask for on hold for me. Thankfully they were still available.

In spite of having at least an 85% female clientele, the bathrooms are routinely dirty, lacking soap, papertowels, and even toilet paper. The staff is over-worked and under-informed, and it is always reassuring to hand your credit card to someone with enough tatoos and piercings to set off a metal detector, or at least startle a small child and the unsuspecting Snowbird that frequents the shopping center. I drive the extra 5 minutes and go to Hobby Lobby, where the coupons are smart phone-friendly and the whiff of vinyl doesnt smack you in the face the minute you walk in the door.

Ordered a Singer sewing machine from Joanns online for my granddaughters 9th birthday. Changed my mind about the model & wanted to upgrade. Was told I couldnt return or exchange at the store but had to go through the hassle, time, & expense of shipping back to Viking co. whom they contract with. Am shipping it back & found the same machine $20 less at Walmart! Sorry, Joanns... you just lost a customer!!

Generally a good craft store. Good selection of fabrics though marked up to offset frequent coupons. Getting fabric cut took longer than it should with no active notification system for when its your turn, you just need to hang out near the fabric area hoping to see your number come up. Considering the percentage of inventory space dedicated to fabrics Id take some time to think about this process.

Best location in the East Valley. Dont ever go in without looking online for coupons. The fabric is marked up a bit because its always on sale or has a coupon. Today one of the ladies at the cutting counter was moving at a snails pace and I felt so bad for the other woman because she was running around trying to pick up the slack, but I was still able to get what I needed.

Clerk was horrible (Lillinda?). My grandma didnt have her phone so I used coupons from my email and I downloaded some from the Jo-Ann website for grandma. The clerk said we couldnt do that, that we each needed our own coupons and that she had seen us before and next time wed be in trouble. Well. We have never been to this location and will never go back.

Came in for burlap material, they had several options on one shelf, with a sign that stated 40% off. Turns out it wasnt correct so when we asked about it the manager came and took down the sign in front of us and wouldnt honor what they had right there, which is illegal. I think its because were Hispanic they treated us like that. Never going back.

I do most of my shopping online, but as a beginner to sewing, I had a few questions I wanted to ask in person at the store. I was redirected twice, and even still no one was available to help me. The store carries most of the products I need at decent prices, but I would have liked to be able to get some advice/direction from an employee.

As a business owner, Im ecstatic to be able to use countless coupons per purchase - - even honoring Hobby lobby and Michaels! I LOVE the fabric and bead selections. I now go to Joanns first and only after which do I continue on to Hobby lobby and Michaels. Several of the staff at Joanns are very supportive, too.

Attempted to buy an item that was on sale for 50% off. It rang up full price so I pointed this out to the clerk. She scanned the item with a hand held scanner and stated no thats the price it comes up and stared blankly at me. Customer service sucks! There are other options. Chose them.

My wife and I went to get fabric for our new babys room and had a very bad experience. While there was one staffer who was friendly and helpful, there were two others who were incredibly rude. Most stores are great but I will never return to this one.

Huge selection of fabric and everything you can imagine for crafts and sewing. However, staff is less than helpful and frequently rude. I have been back to this store multiple times and unfortunately have had multiple bad experiences.

Jo Anns always has what you need, they just dont have enough knowledgeable employees helping on the floor. So it pays to get to know the store so you are not going crazy looking for - what you need. They have good coupons too.

Really bad experience. Manage would not give me the coupon price on a item. She was rude and I will never shop there again. Hobby Lobby is the place to go.

There are a lot of fabrics to choose from but prices arent clearly marked on notions (zippers etc) and patterns are a bit overpriced.
