Ivan Donkey

Michaels is a great place for finding all the small parts for crafting. They sell so many odds and ends that you simply must check them out if your trying to build something. They arent big on fabrics or the materials you buy for sewing and embroidery machines. I recommend Hancock or Joans for fabrics and sewing supplies. I have also found the staff to be very helpful if you cannot find a specific item. Considering how many little things they sell and the huge area to search, its a relief to have the staff actually walk with you to the item instead of pointing and leaving the search to the customer.

This site says business hours is from 9 am to 9:30 pm M-S, (as of Feb 28, 2014) so I went there around 8:50 pm tonight. I was told that the store would close at 9:00. Who is responsible for feeding the false information on this web site? I like the store - and I dont want to rate it low just because of this little mistake- so I give it a 5

My wife and I were walking in a few weeks ago, just before closing time. A staff member came to tell us that they were closing and practically shooed us out. Very disappointing. She must have had a bad day, but it is still her responsibility to be respectful to the customers.

Worst customer service ever. I wanted to buy something and the cashier told me I couldt with the coupon I had, which is totally ok, but when I asked why her answer was I dont know. She didnt even try to find out or cared. I will not be going to that Michaels ever again.

Pretty good craft store, but it can be a little over priced and the coupons and sales can be misleading. I have had problems with the air freshener or candles causing me to have an allergic reaction, I usually cant stay t8to long.

Good place for arts and crafts. Pretty good pricing but weekly mailed coupons make it great. I get most of my art supplies here.
