Worst most terrible experience Ive ever had. The moment I entered the door I was a trashy theif. Three people dropped whatever it was they were doing to immediately start following my every move. Calling one another when I got out of sight. Pretending to be working they are just watching me. I would have really spent 60 bucks probably more. I got nothing other than a rude "can I help you find something" that immediately told me I was a target. A lady walks by me, the older hag, asks her politely if shes OK. Then straight towards me calling her coworker if he had eyes on me. I walk away to another department,after going in circles, watching them watch me. I was planning on making a BD for my dad, a canvas, with spray paint, markers and felt for my girlfriend, and a rocket or model car for her son. When I get to the model cars here they all come, three angels. Im heated, I am, "Wheres the manager" , she says" I am". "So why are you guys profiling me, following me everywhere?" "because you have a big bag" so why dont you ask me to leave it by the door? "Well I could have" "we do this to everyone she exclaimed, yeah right. Everyone was standing around when I walked in. There were people unattended everywhere. I say why dont you profile him? And point to the owner unknowingly, he says yeah well theft is a problem. Well great, I was planning on downright spending 60+ dollars. Now you get a terrible review and youll never see a dime of my money. I said you could been more professional and I might have spent my money, he said your still welcome to. Hahaha yeah right. I hate this place with a passion. Get cameras you broke lowlife.

I really like Ben Franklin! And I also know the lady that works in balloons, and she is a wonderful lady. Im certain that she wasnt suspecting him of stealing either, Im sure she just wanted to see the balloons and what some other stores were carrying at the time. Gotta keep up on the newest trends! Also, in high school, I worked in their customer service department. And that is not the easiest department to work in. I dont know the answer to every question that every person has that walks through the door, and they dont always carry the specific item youre looking for, but I tried my best to help the customer in every way I could. What more could a person ask?

Ben Franklin is a great pleace to go for craft ideas and other things. Its a pretty fun store. Im sad to see there are two terrible reviews on here :( I know the woman who the Oct 8 reviewer is referring to. She orders all the balloons and was curious about the balloons, most-likely because she wanted to purchase them for the store or was curious about competitors prices. She was not accusing the man of shoplifting, Im sure. As far as service goes, some employees are excellent at customer service while some dont care at all. It just depends on who you ask, like pretty much every other retail store.

Expensive and overpriced are the words I use to describe the products sold here. However, they do seem to have plenty and almost never sell out! It would be extremely beneficial for everyone if there was more than one cashier to check you out, though. Theres always a line, so if youre in a hurry you may want to come back later. Its hard to find someone who can help you, there never seems to be a lot of knowledgeable workers around.

I brought in an old, folded up war bonds poster from WWII for framing. They did an absolutely amazing job, spending way more time than had I paid for ensuring the document was properly preserved and that the final product was absolute perfect. They really went out of their way for me, cant praise this business for their framing enough.

I feel like it was really difficult to find the craft supplies I needed for painting, knitting and other weird art projects that Im working on here. They used to have a great selection of yarn and paint supplies but not so much anymore. The staff there is very sweet though!

I only took away one star because it is a little pricey but seeing as its locally owned it needs that to survive the four stars or for all the options you have 4 different craft projects love it and they also accept other coupons from competitors

I was looking for lights of 50 brown cords and you are out. I bought 100 instead. However, the young lady who was at the check stand was outstanding, sweet, courtious, and really made me feel welcome. Ty
