They are way over priced for what they have, for the most part of your looking for great prices and merchandise. Dont waste your time here they advertise as cheap and for the needy yet the prices are the same as most retail department stores and those clothing and objects are brand new . so charging the same price for something used as the same price as something new you may as well but it new and NEVER EVER buy so called authentic purses the ones in the display case because coming from me I have worked in high end retail and none of these purses that are advertised as authentic are actually takes.. And selling the item is actually illegal so dont waste your time and it your money

You can get most things new for a similar price at big box stores. Clothes are the only possible exception but good luck finding something you would wear in public. Im sure there are finds....but Im very very dissatisfied with the pricing.... I took record of several items missing parts,(some critical to utility) plugs or as an example a swiffer jet minus the pads or stuff worn over normal lifespan that is less expensive if you purchased brand new! Disorganized and dirty too....and I love thrift stores...I was shocked after a few visits over as many months to find blatant ripoffs in every section. A Salvation Army store... disgraceful.

Love this store! Im a huge fan of bargains...but, Im also a people person. Management and staff are always friendly and helpful. Everyone there works very hard - and, Im sure it can be difficult dealing with some customers who are always dissatisfied with one thing or another. The managers, cashiers and associates have far more patience than I do! I commend them all for having to deal with some of the worst of the worst shoppers. I find bargains, and, if rarely, I dont - well, I enjoyed the HUNT! Thanks for the fun!

Beware of the the items in the cases. Bought an item for 200.00 just to get it home and find out it was fake after doing research. I called them the very next morning and was told I was out of luck but thanks for the donation. It is illegal to sell items perceived as authentic when they are not. Now Im stuck with junk. The least they could do is refund me because they could of always priced it correctly and resold it. For a Salvation Army Store, they are thieves.

This store receives all its goods free from the community to help others in need. The prices are unaffordable to those that they are so called trying to help. Not every person trying to shop here is in need and I get that. I most often I can find the best price for the same items at a retail /department store in the same local. I think that is saying a lot about the management of the organization of The Salvation Army in Salem, NH

I generally enjoy shopping at this store...the electronics are a concern...They arent tested and are Overpriced. $49.00 for a broken turntable with no headshell?....come on! The staff are pleasant with one exception. The red haired lady acts as if she is Gestapo leader at a POW camp.Im a frequent shopper there and I have been on the dark side of her nature a few times. Management: do something about her.

They sell things both good and broken items. They sell comic books for $1, unprotected, they were $1.50 when they published (too experience). Most staff are rude, dont smile, dont greet or even look at you in the eye.

Definitely need more help. Have great selection of books, but unless you have hours to search, its unlikely to find author you want. I always bring my items here as SA supports people in need.

This store has a great selection of clothes, furniture and household items. The procing is fair, and everyday different colored tags are half off! I love to shop here, its the best thrift shop
