This is not my favorite craft store. This store seems old and dingy. They are stingy with the coupons unlike other stores that help you with getting good use of their coupons. The employees dont seem to know the store any better then you do so it can be hard to find certain items. On the plus side, Michaels does have the best art supply selection. They have great quality brands to choose from. This is really why I do go here. Other craft stores do not offer these brands. I would have to go to a specialty art supply store to get them and probably pay more. All and all it is just an okay store.

This place is much better than Hobby Lobby and a little worse than Jo Ann. Its clean, and you can tell that everyone who works here loves arts and crafts. In fact, the crafty conversations in the check out lines make leaving the store a pretty slow process. They have a framing department in the back. Theyre a great place to get specialty items, like shadow boxes. I like their yarn selection. Their art, canvas and paint section is top notch.

I have always had a great experience when I go here. Sometimes I am not able to pull a coupon up on my phone but they will happily scan one for me from behind the counter, sometimes the discount they give me will be even higher than the one I originally had. The employees are always helpful and if I make a comment about not being able to find something during my visit they will quickly let me know where it is. Great store.

Craft heaven. They had everything we needed here for our project. We had even tried a few other craft stores with no luck. We needed some help finding a few things, the young lady that helped was a wealth of knowledge, showed us where everything was, answered all of our questions and then some. It was a fun experience for the kid project we were working on!

Good selection of products. I would agree that sometimes its difficult to find what you are looking for and the staff isnt always that helpful. But I have had a cashier help me get a coupon I didnt know existed so I could pay less. So its hit or miss there. Overall I enjoy shopping here for decent priced craft supplies.

Great place for the variety of craft supplies, some good quality things and some cheap stuff. Coupons for regular price are difficult to use, since most everything is always on sale in one form or another. They will also exclude items that are not specifically listed, claiming third party vendor rules.

I ran an errand to purchase a craft item for my wife. Kudos for having the meringue powder, I had to deduct stars due to the long wait to pay. There were three checkout people working. Two were working with people that seemed to take forever, while one person handled the rest of the people in the line.

Michaels is a great place to find art supplies. I can always find coupons online to use on my purchases, saving me a lot on sketchbooks, brushes, pencils, etc. The store is very neat and organized and you can always ask a friendly staff member to point you in the right direction.

Just bought a bunch of art supplies for a drawing class. These guys had everything I needed and let me shop on my own with out being hassled. I like their rewards program because they always have a good deal going on that helps out my budget as a starving student.

Really great craft store. Theyve probably got what youre looking for. Conveniently located as well... and if you want, leave your husband next door at Best Buy. Works for everyone. Use their weekly coupons on their website for even better deals.

I have shopped here for years because they offer so many unique items. I love how I can buy individual Prismacolor pencils. Their art section has provided me with what I need for years. I also like their employees. 16 years of shopping there.

People need to work on smiling more and how they speak to customers. The lines are slow and the lane feels claustrophobic with all the "grab ngo" stuff on each side of you. I would shop there more often if it didnt feel so uptight.

Buy from Amazon Couldnt find any of the things I needed for my project. No salespeople on the floor to help. Checkout line was long and slow, and the price of the one thing I did buy didnt match the signs. Not a good experience.

They have a good selection and their painting section helps you know the quality and what is the right brand that fits where you are with your painting. They also offer awesome classes in the evenings on painting and drawing!

They dont have as large of a selection as other craft stores but you can usually always find what you need and you can usually find a coupon online. I purchased a water color set about a year ago and I love it.

They have everything but fabric, and watch out for their $2 grab bags in the front of the store, filled (huge bags) with a random assortment of products. I get great white elephant gifts with them!
