I am not typically a sewing/crafting person so I dont come into the store often. I came in looking for one item, not knowing where to find it. There was no staff around to ask so after looking around on my own I asked one of the cashiers who acted as if I was inconveniencing her and blew me off saying "I dont know what that is". I went back to the fabric cutting table and waited in line to ask someone else who also said they didnt know what I was talking about but sent me to an isle where I might find something like it. The store has a lot of variety so if you are just going into look or know what you are looking for, you might find it but dont expect any help finding anything specific. My 5 minute errand turned into a 45 minute one.

I dont normally give bad reviews or reviews at all. But my experience here was so bad I had to share. Ive heard of bad customer service but this was just mean. I came in to buy fabric for the first time in my life, I turn to the nearest associate who happens to be an older lady and I try to ask her how the pricing works because there are a thousand different numbers floating around the shelf I just dont get it. This lady gives me a look of total disgust and proceeds to talk to me like Im the biggest idiot shes ever met. Not only was she rude she made me feel so bad to the point of tearing up in my car after I left. I love the elderly but they need to fix this cranky old ladys attitude or they are not going to do well in the future!

I recently just moved to Utah, and I do admit there is great selection at Joanns, but today I went and I will never go back again. The lady at the fabric counter couldnt have been more disrepectful and rude. She was extremely unprofessional and needless to say I put my things away and left because it turned me off completely from buying anything. I was truly shocked- It really is too bad, but from now on I will stick to buying my fabric at the little boutiques and my other craft things at Roberts! To me, customer service is #1 and I go shopping not just to shop but for the experience. If you act like you dont want my business, I am sorry but I will take my business elsewhere.

Waited for 45 minutes in store for someone to answer 1 simple question for me and no one would help me. Busy employees would stare at me and say nothing .The one employee I tracked down to talk to me, it was her first day so she just shrugged and didnt get anyone else to assist me. Called the store a couple weeks later to see if the item was in stock i was looking for and the employee has no clue what Im talking about even though they do in fact sell that brand in their store, just wanted to get off the phone as quickly as possible. Terrible customer service, useless employees it seems.

Wish I didnt even have to put one star. This store doesnt even deserve that. WORST SERVICE IVE EVER RECEIVED. The sales associate was so snotty and rude to me. Everything was miss labeled. I have to come here for work, where we have to buy cart loads of fabric. The ladies at the tables are rude to us even then. If you dont want our business we will most definitely take it somewhere else. Do not shop here.

Do not use the buy online pick-up in store option at the Orem Jo-Ann Fabric. The staff was inexperienced and mixed up my order time requiring me to make a second trip the next day. I do not live close to JoAnns and this caused a lot of wasted time and expense. While managers were respectful and did admit it was completely the stores fault they only offered a minimal discount.

There were few price tags- I kept having to get price checks. There is a wide variety of seasonal merchandise but it seemed like most everything was $40 which is a bit high to me. Fortunately much of the store was on sale. Huge selection of fabric! But again, pretty pricey. On a side note, there doesnt seem to be a garden section here.

Jo-Ann is the best craft place in Utah, and this is a great location. Its not huge, but its always had everything that Ive been searching for. They have a great selection of yarn, which is what I mostly buy there, and many other crafting items, too. Its not anywhere as big as Hobby Lobby, but I like it a lot better than that.

Friendly staff and decent selection, though their perler bead stock has dwindled significantly over time. They also seem to never have enough cashiers up front, but the lines still go at a decent clip. If you go, be sure and get their app to use coupons, as they usually have 30-40% off coupons available every week.

I get lost in this store and love it!! The pricing is very competitive and selection is too. The biggest gripe I hear from other customers (and myslef at times) is the long, long waiting lines to get fabric cut and then more long lines to check out of the store.

It is a great store with a great selection, although a lot of the things are a little more expensive than they are at other stores. They have such a huge selection it makes up for it, though, and the accept Michaels coupons which is great.

Joann Fabrics has the largest selection of fabrics of anywhere I have ever been. It is so fun to shop here! The staff is very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. The prices are competitive and there is always great sales going on.

I love the vast fabric collection and their awesome coupons, and the customer service is usually pretty great. The only thing that I dont like is that their bridal fabrics are always on a 30% off sale, so I can never use my coupons.

This is a great place for fabrics. At first, the prices seemed expensive, but if you get on their e-mail list, you get great coupons (up to 50+% off any item) mailed to you almost every day.

Lots of variety here and staff is friendly and quick, but they didnt have large bolts of a solid bright green color, so had to settle for a less than optimal darker green.

They have good sales on there seasonal merchandise. If you want fabric theres usually a wait to get it cut. They do have coupons to help you with cost.

Great store for fabrics and crafts. Awesome weekly coupons you can even pull up from your phone online. Only thing is the line usually takes a while.
