I feel terrible giving this place a poor review, because the family that runs this business is extremely kind. I am here however to speak on their business practices specifically, which is what most people reading this will be interested in. Our fridge went out, so we sold it to Century Appliances (CA) and bought one of their models for a fair price. We paid extra to have it delivered, which was convenient, however they scratched our floor and door frame pretty bad bringing the fridge in. Within a few days, this fridge went bad. It took them about a week to come back out and replace it with another fridge. Prior to agreeing to replace the fridge, the owner tried to sell us back our old fridge for a price that I believed to be extremely unfair. Within another couple of weeks, that fridge started going bad. The refrigerator side would freeze our food in a matter of hours. It even froze an entire carton of milk. We put it off for several months, not wanting to deal with CA anymore, but finally could not take it. They came out and replaced three different parts on the appliance over the course of about a month and a half. Once this issue was finally resolved, our water dispenser stopped working. It is technically still under warranty, but I am exhausted from making calls to CA and am prepared to just deal with the broken water dispenser until we decide to buy a brand new fridge. We will not be dealing with this company anymore in the future and would not recommend them to anybody. I would like to say on a side note that the representative Alex was extremely kind to us and always willing to answer our questions/calls. This business has some potential, but only if they choose to start inspecting their appliances more thoroughly before selling them.

Sold me a GE side by side which went out after 5 months, there warranty only covers them coming out for 3 months after which you have to pay for the visit but not the parts or labor which is okay I suppose. The major problem for me comes in when they are not available for calls except during regular business hours and they said they only do 2-3 calls on Sat (none Sun) so when my refrigerator went out after just 5 months it took me a few more to get them to come out, using a mini fridge in the mean time. They do not schedule a time on Sat so you have to sit around waiting all day to get their call. I fell asleep and when they called I didnt call them back for 45 minutes. The person told me it was to late and he would have to reschedule.Another two months down the road still waiting for them to grace me with another appointment.

i do not recommend this place. Non-professional, and the owner will not call you back, even you are unhappy. i bought a dryer and 90 days later it stopped working. it was 11 pm on the day before Christmas eve. well of course i did not call on Christmas eve or Christmas day but the next morning after Christmas, i called. i am literally right around the corner from them, they came out, but said they would have to charge a trip charge of 45.00. but it is under warranty and it was a holiday, they did not care, and they would not budge. i asked to speak with the owner, not there, i ask that he call me, but he never did. i will never buy from him again and i will tell everyone i know to tell everyone they know to stay away from century appliance. un-happy !

Ive purchased a refurbished washer and dryer set for about $150 that lasted me about 2 years until the washer sprang a small leak. I called them, they picked it up, assessed the issue, and when they realized it was going to cost a lot to repair they sold me a similar replacement at a VERY reasonable price. Very nice people. Quick to respond. My mother also purchased a dishwasher that she loves and my sister has purchased several items from them as well. Never had problems with them! Highly recommend!

Extremely poor service. My dishwasher was delivered and not installed completely. When I asked the owner for someone to return to complete the job he wanted to charge a $50 trip fee. When I mentioned I was going to get the BBB involved he showed up with an attitude and barely completed the job. When the appliance broke 6 months later I preferred to call someone else even if it was covered by the warranty, just not to deal with Riveras attitude.

Purchased (2) Washer Dryer sets over the years and never had a single problem. Heading that way later this week to buy my 3rd set. Nothing happened to the other ones, we just gave them away when we moved to a new apartment that provided them. Great service, very friendly and listen, $50 for a service call is cheap. Call Maytag or GE and see what they charge, then come post your review.

Bought a fridge, broke the third day, they replaced it with another, it broke in a couple weeks, they fixed it, it broke again 5 days later. I have a restaurant and lost thousands of dollars worth of product. They wont refund my money, but will gladly come pick up the fridge for free so they can sell to some other sucker. Just buy a new and save yourself the hassle.

You get what you pay for - got a Whirlpool standup freezer for a reasonable price but it went out after 30 days. Had to take it back to the shop to get it fixed for free. Ill follow up with you when I get it back.
