I live in High Bridge about 1.5 miles from the"Bike King" and I avoid it at all costs. I purchased a bike there about 4 years ago and have continually felt let down ever since. Most recently I decided to give them another chance when buying some accessories. I asked a simple question to see if this particular accessory came with a popular option. The sales women went to the computer and "looked" up the manufacturer and came back to tell me the option was not available. Later that day while talking about my new purchase with a friend when I visited the companies web site via my mobile phone (to show my friend a picture) and was shocked to see exactly what I had asked about on the first page I clicked. Im not really sure what the saleswomen "looked up", but I have my doubt that she looked anything up. They are about as friendly as a wet towel. No warm greeting, no personal service.... seriously I think they both suffer from Aspergers syndrome. I will never spend another dollar in that store!

Nothing but good respect for this store and the ability to solve any bike related problem. I read many public blogs before choosing a service especially where my children s safety is at risk. Ron and his wife have never let us down. After stopping at a newer closer bike shop near Flemington only to hear we dont have that! The extra ride for me to Bike King and the owner Ron reached into a drawer and pulled out exactly what was needed to make my problem go away . Not only one of them but three different types and the bearing that was in question, three sizes. It is beyond me how anyone in this day and age can dedicate there entire selfs to one endeavor as these two have. RIDE ON!

Today at 4:15 PM I called Bike King to see if they could adjust my road bike shifting. The chain kept coming off and it has not been shifting right for some time. They said sure they would take a look at it. Ron and Mary Ellen, as usual, not only looked at my bike and actually fixed it right away (they closed at 5 PM). The bike now runs great and they even installed a new tire that I purchased. Thanks Ron and Mary Ellen for the super professional service!!!

ive used bike king in the past but moved out of town recently. i had a leaking fork on my bike and after stopping at 2 local shops and having them tell me it was junk but they could sell me a new one, i drove out to bike king. within 15 minutes the fork was diagnosed with a bad o-ring and a $20 repair got me back on the trails. from now on, i just make the trip to bike king because i know ill get honest service and a job done right

Great experience. Its like when you find an honest car mechanic who doesnt try to up-sell you or get you to change the unnecessary filter. My daughters bike had a flat and I am not a cyclist at all. Ron at BIKE KING was helpful and honest. No, I dont need a new tire, just a new inter-tube. He could do it for me but its pretty easy and I could install it myself (which saved me some money.) This is how you earn a lifetime customer!

My son somehow messed up the front fork on his mountain bike. I took it to Bike King and the person there said he thought it would be 2 business days before he got it fixed. The next day (on a Saturday) he called and said he was able to get the replacement part in and had the bike done. Nice people and the price was very reasonable.

Ive been coming here for the past few years and always keep coming back, Ron and Mary Ellen run a fantastic shop, know A LOT, have a decent amount of inventory as far as parts go, and better prices than most places online, also they have no problem giving out knowledge and tips for DIY people

Gave my sister-in-law a great deal on a Trek Silque, so I drove an hour out of my way to purchase a Trek Domane 4.3C from Ron. When it comes time to upgrade my mountain bike (which will be soon), Ill definitely come back!
