The concept of an electric bike is great but at least my experience with the lead batteries and charges has been beyond poor. I had my first two fail, a friend who talked me into the concept gave me his two that he had not really used and now they have failed. I urge you to not by the Lead-Acid battery and charger! I have a brick for the back of your bike that I will let you have at no charge.

I bought the 500 watt motor with a 48 volt battery and Im very happy with my purchase. The company was very responsive and helpful. I called the company a couple of times while I was installing the kit. I would highly recommend this company and their e-bike kit. I installed the kit on my recumbent trike.

Nice if your just going 15 or 20mph its not like the last nut that was working on my ebike/45 or 76mph.
