today I went on a 40 mile bike ride with my friend. I got a flat going over the cape may bridge and luckily, I know how to change the flat on my own. THANK GOD I didnt have to bring it in to get fixed, because that wouldnt have happened. I had a problem after I fixed it and I knew exactly what was wrong and how to fix it. I stopped in the shop to ask if I could borrow a stand to fix it on my own and they said no. okay, thats fine I respect that. but afterwards they got nasty and arrogant with me and looked down at me as if I had no clue what I was doing. they treated me with no respect and saw that I was a teenager and treated me as they would a child. never stop here for help if youre in the middle of a ride.

Girlfriend went in to buy a new helmet as hers broke at the outset of a ride. She asked for assistance in adjusting it and was told that adjusting the circumferential positioning ring was sufficient. They sent her out with the side straps and chin strap dangling rather than positioned below the earlop and snug top, side and chin as indicated on the box. Since helmet protection is dependent on proper fitting I count this as totally unacceptable service for a customer walking out with the helmet on the head, not in the box (which was discarded.) Shame!!

Best bike shop in Cape May. Whether your renting a Surrey for your cousins from South Dakota, finding the perfect bike to cart your niece around town for the weekend, or you need to get your tri-racing bike tuned up for the big day, Village is the spot. They are the go-to-spot for bike rentals in season, and there isnt another spot I would ever take my bike for any repairs or upkeep. Great location and customer service. Open year-round with convenient hours.

Great shop. Responsive. Friendly. Quick. Reasonably priced. My daughters bicycle needed repair. It was a simple repair. They took her bicycle right away -- promptly did the repair, explained the problem and advised what to do if it happens again. We were in and out swiftly for $5. Our repair was simple, but as we waited, they knowledgeably talked bicycles with others. They know their stuff. A terrific & knowledgeable bicycle shop.

We rented bikes for the day. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The bikes were in excellent condition. They allowed us to leave our car in the parking lot all day for no extra charge. We didnt know it was cash only, but were sent off on our journey and told to just pay when we got back. I highly recommend this company.

A real bike shop, with parts and experience. Recently needed an obscure part mounting a 7 speed cassette on a 8 speed hub. Needed a 4.5 mm spacer. These guys had it in the shop, had experience with the set up and got me on the ROAD!
