I am usually pretty forgiving if the person I am dealing with made an HONEST effort. This was not to be the case in dealing with Justified Appliance. I bought my wife a brand new Maytag washer and dryer from Sears over 20 years ago. She kept them in mint condition without a scratch on them all that time. One day the washer quit working and I called Justified Appliance on FM529, which was only a half mile away at the front of my subdivision. They picked up our washer and took it for repairs. After inspecting the washer they said it had several parts that needed replacing, including the tub which was nearly rusted through. A new washer would have cost us $500, but my wife really liked her washer and they said they could replace all the worn parts in it for a flat fee of $250, so I gave my OK for the repairs to be done. When they delivered the washer back the first thing my wife noticed was a dent in the side of the washer that was not there before. She was really irritated about it since had kept her washer in mint perfect for over 20 years and they bang it up in one week. This however was not the main problem. We also noticed the "new" tub which they had installed looked completely different than the original one. I called and asked why. They tried telling me it was a bigger and better tub than the original Maytag one, but the final truth that came out they had used a cheaper aftermarket replacement tub in place of the genuine Maytag one. I also asked what other parts they had to replace. They told me about some broken gears in the transmission they had "swapped out for good used ones". I immediately questioned why they were using, "used parts", for the repairs. They finally admitted that they did not use new parts for repairs. They used, "good USED parts" from other broken washers. This was not what I was told or expected to receive after paying half the price of a new washer for repairs. The cheap tub really bothered my wife so I promised her I would get it fixed back to new condition like it was before. I called Justified Appliance and told them to come get it and put the right tub in it. They refused to do so unless I paid them another $125 for what they said covered the difference in the prices of the tub. I went ahead and paid the additional $125 for the tub replacement since I had already invested $250 in it, and I wanted my wife to be happy with her washer. It was supposed to have a three-year warranty, but within a year it started leaking water on the floor. I called Justified Appliance and was told there would be an additional fee to pick it up and ckeck it out. I went to the Justified Appliance location and was talking to the employee at the counter. I told him I was not happy and I wanted the washer fixed with new parts and with no dents this time. The owner heard me and came over and I told him I wanted the washer fixed right! He said, "All I want is for you to be out of my store!" This is the type of treatment you get when you catch these people cheating you. I called later without giving my name and tried to talk to the service tech to find out what could be leaking on the washer so I could fix it myself, but they refused any information over the phone. Pass this info on to others so they will be warned of just what kind of THIEVES work for Justified Appliance and what he owner will do if you complain. God bless, James

Bought a stainless GE Profile dishwasher from Justified Appliance at a reasonable price. We paid an additional $99 for delivery and installation for that afternoon. The manager told us the unit had been inspected before they put it on the sales floor and that they would inspect it again before it was delivered. The installer arrived less than an hour after we arrived home and came in to remove the old unit. The installer ended up breaking the water pipe at the wall. That young man was extremely helpful and couldnt apologize enough for the mishap. He called the owner and the owner sent a technician to repair the damage. The technician showed up with the wrong parts and had to leave and go get more parts. He returned with more wrong parts and was going to leave, leave us with the water shut off to the house, and return the next day to complete the repair. I was able to find a pvc cap in my shop so he could at least plug it and turn the water on. They returned the next afternoon, after completing other service calls, and finally completed the install. We had to ask the technician to show us the operation of the unit. He pointed at the button to change the settings and then pressed the start button. He stated that it works and left! The next day, we found that the unit would not change settings and I called. I spoke to the owner who stated that they would order a part and send a technician out to repair it or they would find me a similar unit to replace it. After a week, no response! Went to the store, and was told that I had spoken with owner and he was not in the store. The manager advised that the owner was bad about forgetting to finishing task. The manager advised that he would send technician out the next day to check the unit and he would send another unit with him to replace it if needed. They didnt have another similar unit to replace it. The next morning at 1030am, I had not heard from them and I called. I was told then they were ordering a part and would come out when they received it, agreed. 5 minutes later, received a call from the manager who advised that I could come get a cash refund of the purchase price. When I asked about the sales tax, he refused and said that it was a cash refund. I told him that we had paid sales tax on the unit he replied that he would give us a cash refund of $300 or he would refund our card for the purchase price with the tax included and we could keep the unit that doesnt work properly. They obviously do not check the units as they say they do, or they should have caught that this unit didnt work properly. Their warranty was to replace the unit with a substandard unit. With service like this, I cant believe that they have been in business for 30 years that they are so proud of! Now, I have water damage to floor and a junk dishwasher. Mitch & David, This is a note of appreciation for the outstanding customer service I was provided when going through the dilemma of living without a dryer a few weeks ago! I had problems with my dryer that I purchased from you all and I was advised to have the dryer checked out for a defect. It seemed to keep tripping the breaker and was making a squealing sound when it first started to run. Justified Appliance immediately responded and agreed to switch out the dryer for another one. Thank you! However, when I continued to have problems with the replacement dryer, you took the time out to accommodate my needs and picked up the new dryer for further testing. I understand that was not a party of the warrant agreement to do pickups but when I explained my hardship to David , as a courtesy you all agreed to pick up the dryer and take it back to the showroom for further diagnostics. Thank you! You even invited me to observe the testing to ensure my peace of mind with the operations of the dryer. Thank you! I was able to discover the problem at my house and had it fixed. But I would never have gotten to that point, if you all ha not provided the trouble-shooting that you did to help eliminate all possible problems. Again thank you! In a world of dishonesty, deceitfulness, bad customer service and ill-will, I was totally blown away by the customer service you provided to me and my son. I admit that I was very skeptical and a bit numerous about dealing with the warranty agreement with your business. We have all encountered situations where warranties ended up not being worth the paper on which it was written. Buy you all went above and beyond to honor the warranty. You made us feel comfortable while being at your business and you were a true blessing to me and my son! My son was even excited about the lollipops he was able to get during our numerous visits back and forth to the showroom! I will continue to think of Justified whenever I have the need for any appliance in my home. I feel totally comfortable recommending Justified to friends. Keep up the great customer service and maintain the honest and integrity with all of your dealings with your customers, and you will continue to be blessed in your business!
