Saturday, October 30, 2010, we walked into the store at 5:50pm in need of drill bit or stripped-bolt-extractor in order for my friend to be able to drive home, 30 miles away. At 6:03pm, all the lights were turned-off so we couldnt read whether the bit was 7/32 or 9/32. Salesman wouldnt help other than to stand over us and tell us that the registers are closing. We decided to purchase the $30+ of bits in our hands hoping one of them will work. At 6:05pm we are driving back home, realizing that Aces customer service does not provide any compelling reason to NOT go to Home Depot, Lowes or Elliots.

Horrific!!! Two male employees tried to belittle me for looking for potting soil. They kept on about the wrong time of year and kept on about how I should learn how to take care of plants. All of this was unsolicited. I grow plants that most people cant grow. I have two green thumbs. U did not need two jerk no it alls who actually no nothing trying to "educate" me. They were a joke!!

I love how the employee keep the mom any pop service that I expect and rely on from ACE while the store itself has a sleek and modern polish to it. I cant ignore the fact that I have found the things I need here when others hardware store come up short.

I walked in the front door and Joe immediately asked if I needed help finding anything, I was taken to just what I needed, given advice and he even took my things to the front for me! Incredible service, I was in and out in 5 minutes. Thanks Joe!!
