Do not order flooring from this store. Found flooring but store was out of stock. I was told it would arrive in 2 weeks or less. 2 weeks passed, no call, no email, so I called the store. I was informed that the vendor was out of stock and it would be another week. So I canceled my contractor and was going to wait the week. The next day someone called from the store to tell me my flooring was in but 3 boxes were damage and it would be another week. But wait I said, and explained that someone called me yesterday to say the vendor was out of stock on my flooring so where did these boxes come from? They dont give you tracking numbers so I couldnt tell who was lying or why there was two different explanations on whats going on with my flooring. So then I ask why I had to wait another week for the flooring if its in stock and the boxes being damaged were not my fault. Home Depot didnt even try to expedite the flooring due to all the mixup, they dont care. Also when I bought my flooring I was told the transition piece would be available for purchase, I should have looked, my fault for having faith. So they didnt have the transition piece so I ordered it through the store. ETA was on the 17, no call, no email again, so I called on the 19, the first guy I spoke with told me its an ETA and not something I should rely on, and it would be the 21st until they could call the vendor. Great customer service, not. He could care less. Spoke with manager, very nice but again no explaination on why no communication has been given since we are already two days past the ETA. Home Depot had no clue on my order, gave no apologies for the fact that I have had to track them down numerous times, so now I wait till Monday. So a small room 10by13 is now taking almost 6 weeks, never again!!!

I come to this HD location frequently since its a convenient location. I typically find the store to be a pleasant experience. Save for a few locations...but those few occasions stick out. First one I can remember, I bought a corded electric drill. Got home, opened it...the drill was dirty and had obviously been used previous, there were also included items that were missing from the box. Despite the box being presented as a "new in-box" item. Had to make an extra trip to exchange it. Poor quality control. Second incident involved an employee. I was looking for electrical tape and asked an employee where I could find it, the answer I received as a VERY condescending "In electrical?" I dont offend easily, but this guy was an ass - yes the answer should have been obvious but the fact that people like me exists keeps you employed - I guess thats something he never considered. Third and most recent incident, I stopped by after work to buy parts to fix a toilet...it was supposed to be a quick in and out. I was approached by a HD employee selling their contract services. Nothing against this employee, he was friendly and polite...more annoyed that his management forces him to harass their customers unsolicited inside their own store. I really should learn to just say "no thanks leave me a lone..." Maybe thats my own fault.

Went to our neighborhood Home Depot in Plano today, which we have been going to since it opened. We were making a large purchase to build a fence. We asked three people to help us with the wood, each of whom said they would find someone but didnt. We loaded it ourselves onto carts we were given by a Home Depot employeee with no safety rails on them so the huge stacks of wood kept falling off and almost injured my 75 year old grandfather (who hauled the wood--guess they cant be bothered to help the elderly). We complained to DeWanda who was very helpful and the best part of the whole experience. She called a manager for us named Brad who didnt apologize and finally gave us a meager 10% discount. They promised to send someone to help us load the wood into our truck, but no one ever came. Once again it was up to my 75 year old grandpa, me, and my mother with arthritis to load hundreds of pieces of wood into the truck. We will go to Lowes next time.

The past few visits Ive had at this location have been great. So much that its now my default place to go. Jerry at customer service has helped me a couple of times now. He seems to be the expert behind the desk. And during my last visit Zoe was able to help me get some mulch when they were out of the stuff I wanted. She didnt get some respect from an old guard cashier, but she stuck to it and was my hero that day. Thank you Zoe and Jerry! Hope HD appreciates you as much as I do.

I go to this location all the time and its always a great experience. Today, I went to pick up several bags of mulch. Immediately upon entry to the store, Mike asked if he could help me load all of the mulch into the cart. Then, he walked me to the checkout desk and then loaded everything into my car for me. Such awesome customer service, its always a quick trip, and they always have everything in stock that I need for a great price.

We did our whole remodel out of this store because the staff are very friendly, knowledgable and helpful (unlike at some other nearby locations). You can tell they really take pride in their jobs. The only thing is this location doesnt have a tool rental shop - for that you can go to The Colony (121 & Paige) or Carrollton (Josey & Keller Springs) locations.

Great service and friendly atmosphere..... store employees have good knowledge of most products and return policies are very consumer-friendly . Acknowledgement all active duty military and veterans is world class. From garden to electrical, appliances, hardware and building materials as well as truck rentals they are the best

Will go out of my way to shop at Lowes from now on since they offer 10% military discount to all branches of service and Home Depot does not. Used to get the discount at Home Depot but was told by the cashier that they only give the discount to army, other branches of service dont matter.

Recent visit to carpet installation desk. Fantastic and knowledgable person there name Jeri. Knew what we needed, helped up pick carpet and set up a very quick installation. Best person I have ever dealt with at HD. Good installation, we are installing again. Thank you Jeri!

We were in the carpet area and she was very disinterested in helping or asking questions, and basically turned us away. I guess that planned purchase didnt rate enough dollars, but its not like we dont spend. Go to the Home Depot in The Colony, youll get much better service.

We came to buy a lawn mower and Greg helped us out with all of our questions. He had wonderful maintenance recommendations and also helped us with weed issues in our yard. He was so helpful and we highly recommend him if you find yourself in the yard or garden area!

Called customer service because I needed some help to look up something on my pro account was told and i quote, "cannot look that up for you right now I have a long line" if you cant help or transfer me to someone that can why bother answer the phone.
