A bad experience in the sales department (my second) has spurred this review. Just today I walked in with the whole hearted intent to buy their leftover 2016 Yamaha XSR900. I had a wad of cash in my pocket and a number I wanted to be at. I checked the bike out 2 or three times over the summer, was going to do their test ride (which is utter crap by the way, you have to purchase the bike to ride it, if you dont like it in the first 10 miles you can return and they will tear up your paperwork) but in the un-crating/inspection they shorted a wire and the brakes didnt work so they had to order a part. The salesman (disposable over there as I have never seen the same one twice) was supposed to call me when the part was in and the bike was purchasable but that never happened. Which was fine because I wasnt 100% committed to buying it. Come late February and they still have the bike, marked down almost $1,500 bucks to a reasonable $8.5k. I decide I want to be out the door as near to that number as possible and pull together some cash so I can make the deal, I walk into the dealership (the third time in 3 business days) to look at it one final time and make my move. Like the first two times late last week and Saturday not a single sales person talks to me while I am looking at the bike (which Im fine with honestly) and a gentleman walks out from the back with a completely undone button down members shirt (one of the Japanese brands, I dont remember) and asks if I have been helped and if there is anything he can do. I believe from past experiences (one purchasing an ATV, the other being declined on putting our off-road club fliers on their counter) that this is the sales manager but cant be sure as the interaction was brief. Knowing I cant test ride the bike I say, "I think Id like to buy this bike" he assumes the wrong one and I point to the XSR900, of which he states "this was his favorite bike in the shop." He asks if I want an "out the door write up" and I know where this was going from my previous purchase. My previous purchase was next door at the Honda shop (they are separate buildings but one business), with I believe the same person (was over a year ago so not sure). I bought a leftover Honda ATV that was listed for just over $3k and walked out the door handing over just under $4k in cash, this was the asking price plus about $230 in sales tax plus title and ORV registration and then all of their "dealership fees" which was a few hundred dollars. I was fine with this because it was at a price I couldnt match before all of the fees and about the same as everywhere else after them. Because I know he is going to magically turn this $8,500 bike into something close to $10k I tell him I have a number I want to be at in which he asks and I say verbatim "Id like to be at $8,500 out the door" notice no where did I say that was my bottom line, I didnt say I would walk away if he couldnt get there or anything but this was his response as a salesperson, "well I can save us a lot of time, that wont happen" and then without a word, went on his way. I, partially stunned that there was no further conversation, went on my way as well. I sat in my car and pulled out my back up bike a couple hours away at another dealership and gave them a call. I will be test riding (before I buy) the same thing in a different dealership tomorrow with my big wad of cash in my pocket. The caveat and why this isnt a <3 star review: I have been frequenting this dealership since Ive been in Tennessee (almost 4 years now). This is my second time having a bad experience, and it was in the same department (sales). Parts and Service has been awesome to deal with, really cant knock either and feel comfortable shopping at both. The parts guys are nice and knowledgeable and the service is straight forward dealership quality (and prices), which Im fine with.

I came to this store under the impression I was getting a great deal turns out to be a wasted trip (almost 2hrs one way). I have to say James was professional, but the sales manager was a joke, in my opinion. After what was a pointless discussion I actually am going to a different state to have to get that great deal. Westfield Powersports Indiana gave me a wonderful deal, 1500.00 under Cool Springs (A 1500.00 inflated price on Cool Springs part) and included TN taxes, not on top of, into the low price of 8200 OTD(Yes, that includes TN taxes at state and county rate). It is a shame I can not find a good deal in my own state ( I called other dealers in TN) and I have to leave and go to another state to get the best deal. Listen, before you go here and make a wasted trip, make sure and do some research and call around, get all the details, there is always a better price out there, even if you have to drive to another state.

While riding with my kids on the West Point trails, my youngests DRZ-70 started coughing while negotiating some puddles. After getting it back to the trailer and unable to troubleshoot it myself I called Adam in service. Realizing I had already tried everything he knew to do, Adam said he would get a solution and call back. Within minutes the phone rang back with not only the correct diagnosis but the exact steps to troubleshoot and get the little guy riding again. I have purchased five off-road vehicles from Coolsprings Powersports in the last six years and will continue to be a repeat customer. Their Service and Parts department continues to negate any notion I may occasionally get to drive all over the Southeast in an attempt to save a few dollars on the purchase. Thank you Adam!

Im in the market for a new bike have been considering several different manufacturers. First off no one wanted to help me. It took 20 minutes before anyone would help. Then they sent me a young man hardly knowledgeable of the models I was considering. When I asked about scheduling test rides. He said they do not give test rides. I was shocked. Who buys a bike theyve not ridden? He then asked another salesperson who was apparently the senior salesperson. That man could not be bothered. He learned against one of 4 wheeled monstrosities outside lazily and not so much as a nod in my direction refused to accommodate my request or even to offer a rental. I will not purchase anything from this dealer. Extraordinary unprofessionalism. Im going to a different dealer.

I bought a motorcycle here back in 2011 and had an overall great experience. Fast forward to today. Im looking to trade my old one in for a newer, larger and more cross country friendly motorcycle. Doing research to find out what I want. I was hoping to do some test riding to find out what I might want and find out what the trade in for my motorcycle might be worth towards a new one. Ive had a bit of resistance and hesitance. I dont know if its new ownership or if its just the very few that have spoken with me there, but overall the experience has really gone downhill it feels. Didnt test ride or get any numbers thrown my way. I just ended up leaving to take my business elsewhere.
