The Harley Shop of Michigan City is a divine place to visit. You will be happily greeted as you walk through the doors by their wonderful motorclothes girls. This store is a satellite store off of Valparaiso Harley Davidson, so the store is small in comparison to others. Smaller doesnt mean this store isnt capable of holding high standards though! There are about 10 brand new bikes on the show room floor at all times! The clothing selection for men, women, and children is abundant! They have at least 10 double sided racks for women, and probably the same for men! They have customized t-shirts for the store, along with genuine harley merchandise, collectibles, keychains, boots, helmets, leathers, automobile accessories, the list goes on! They also have an amazing parts department! Fish (the parts manager) is a very knowledgeable, and helpful guy! He will help you with whatever you need help with, and he makes sure that people dont buy the wrong things! If he sees a customer walk up and just grab a part that they think they need, he makes sure it fits their bike, so they dont have to worry about bringing it back! The sales manager, Jeff, and his sales team, are amazing people! Jeff is the manager of all three stores (Triumph, Honda, and Harley). Some people might complain because he was "short" with them, but the guy is managing 3 stores, takes care of 100+ customers a day, the phone is constantly ringing off the hook for him, and he has to look over 20-30 employees. Hes a busy guy to say the least. Hes truly a wonderful person though. He does his best to make sure his customers are nothing less than extremely satisfied with their experience. The rest of the sales team works hard to match customers with the bike of their dreams, and will willing pull bikes from their other 4 Harley Davidson stores (Valparaiso, Kokomo, Indy West, and Boiler) to satisfy a customer. The service team is also splendid! They work their butts off to get bikes fixed and out the door as soon as possible, so not one perfect riding day gets wasted. This store has been in its location for 15 years, and the employees still work as hard as they did, the day their doors opened. I highly recommend that everyone stops in at least once if they are in the area- even if you arent a Motorcycle person! Its a great experience!!

I went in to have the bike checked over. When I called to see if it was ready they said the brakes felt mushy and they were going to bleed the brakes and they would be done. I called again and was told it was in the detail shop and would be ready for pick up that day. When I stopped to get gas on my way home I noticed "fish-eyes" in front of the gas fill on the tank. Then I understood why they had my bike in the detail shop when I was just in for a check over - they obviously spilled brake fluid on my tank. When I called them out they said they never worked on the brakes and sure enough they didnt have any info. on the work order!! I understand people make mistakes but this deceptive cover-up is no way to run a service business. Customers Beware!!!

I bought a used bike from them. Never again will i buy anything from them.Besides the bike having safety issues and other mechanical issues i only put 3000 miles on it and the crankcase cracked.Not expecting them to do anything but give me a break on the price of the crankcase. The kid behind the parts counter said i would have to pay full price and there was nothing he could do that if was an ABATE member they would give me 5% off the price. Evidently they dont care about customer service.

Went in to look at used bikes, walked out with a nearly-new HD that was a bit more pricey than Id planned on but infinitely more secure in my purchase of a quality bike that fit my wants & needs perfectly. Staff was friendly & helpful with zero pressure. Best bike store in the area!

Excellent service, everyone is super friendly and knowledgable. i have been buying, get my bikes fixed/upgraded there for over 10+. highly recommended, jeff, aaron, all the guys there are great. i live in chicago, and i have my bikes serviced here because how well im treated.

This place is a joke. Drop a tire off after calling ahead. Told itll be ready in an hour maybe 2. 30 minutes work. Come back 2 1/2 hours later and they hadnt even touched it. Blame it on triage. Will never return!
