On Weds, July 15th, I purchased a new 2015 Ultra Limited. It was being brought in from the New Orleans store and was to arrive Thurs. morning. They were to swap my V&H exhaust from the old bike, put on a new A/C and backrest. I was going to purchase a SERT so the bike could be tuned to the new parts. I was told by the service dept. that they couldn’t tune the bike until after the break-in period. They would do the service at 1,000 miles and put in on the dyno. The bike was going to be ready Thursday afternoon and they would call me. Thursday came and went. no call. Friday came and went, no call. Saturday, no call. I called them at 3pm and was told that the bike was ready, sitting out back and to come and get it. Picked the bike up at 4pm Sat and trailered it home. Went to take it for a ride, only to find out it wouldn’t run. Then I found the front tire 6 lb. under pressure. The rear tire 6 lb. under pressure. The rear air shock at 20 lb. The headlight was so far out of adjustment that it was useless. It had one gallon of gas, 7 miles on the odometer, and was dirty. Trailered the bike back to cool Springs on Monday, the 20th. Talked to Woody, the general manager, who told me that I had to buy a tuner and tune the bike or it wouldn’t run. When asked why the service dept. would tell me something different, He shrugged his shoulders and said “I don’t know”. When told about the other issues with the bike and why I wasn’t called, He apologized and said he didn’t know. I bought the tuner and paid to have it tuned. They filled it with gas and washed it. On Monday the 20th I was finally presented with a bike that should have been delivered on the 16th. They charge $699 for a set up fee. That obviously doesn’t include air pressure, headlight adjustment or a running bike. A couple of days after I got the bike home, I got a call from the dealership apologizing for my bad experience and telling me that is not how they do business. He wanted to let me know that they valued me as a customer and hoped I would continue to do business with them in the future. It was just more excuses and apologies. At no time did he offer to make things right or offer any incentive to keep my business. Although, admittedly, it is hard to make things right when you deliver a brand new motorcycle to a customer that is in an unsafe and unusable condition. You only get one chance to make an impression. They certainly made an impression and it wasn’t good. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I won’t be doing business with Cool Springs HD again.

Ok, I think its about time to write up a review of HD Cool Springs. Considering this is the third Harley that Ive gotten from them, a review is overdue. :) These guys have been simply wonderful in their interactions with me. Bending over backwards to get me what I want and to correct anything that pops up. Nick, Dave and Rob in parts always give me their full attention and are quite helpful in finding and ordering the parts I need or am interested in.Plus the banter with those guys is always good fun. Jordan, Will, and Robert in service offer great advice and work with me when it comes to setting up service for my motorcycle. They communicate well and answer any queries I have in regards to an upcoming service. Oh and I gotta give a shout out to Keith my mechanic, something that HD of Cool Springs does well is allow me to request working with the same mechanic. Ive developed a great relationship with Keith that I really appreciate. Motorcycling is a hobby and a passion, you want to be able to have great communication and trust with those who are working on your bike, Keith exemplifies that. On the sales side of the dealership, Joe, Mark and Porkchop are great, they are attentive and listened to what I was wanting from a motorcycle and helped me achieve getting there. Theyll reach out to you make sure that youre happy and if there is anything that they can do for you. Finally there is the general manager Jamie, when he came on board last year one of the things I noted was his energy level. This guy is always moving and paying attention to everything and everyone. Hes sincere about helping you and wants you to be happy. I see Jamie as the cap on the bottle, he completes for me what a HD dealership should be. My wife over the last couple years has pushed me to visit all of the various motorcycle dealerships in the Nashville area, Murfreesboro, Columbia etc. Which I have done and some of them Ive been in numerous times. Flat out no one has come close to offering the same level of friendliness and communication that HD Cool Springs has. These visits to other dealerships has further cemented my desire to continue using HD Cool Springs as my home base for all things I do with motorcycling. Well done HD of Cool Springs. Apologies for being rather long winded, but you have to consider this a long term review that I felt was overdue. :)

My husband and I purchased a brand new 2015 Street Glide from a wonderful sales man by the name of Joe Murphy. Once the deal was done he sent us over to Trinity she is wonderful and very knowledgeable of all the different things to be done to the bikes. She also know what would suit you the best by judging your size my husband was wanting 10 inch bars on his bike she suggested the 12 inch bars for his size and it was a perfect fit he doesnt regret getting the 12s. She also helped us pick out some pipes for the bike as well. Then we were passed on the Jordan in the service dept he is wonderful as well. We have had the bike up there three times since we brought it a little over a month getting different things done to it. We call on some what short notice and he has always been able to work on getting us right in. Tammy in rentals as well we are part of the PSP and she has always been able to get a rental even with short notice. Oh and I can not forget Scott he is the gentleman that help us in the finance part of the deal he was a pleasure to work with a wonderful guy to get along with. There is one that is very important to this review as well that would be Jamie without Joe and Jamie working on the price this deal would not have been possible. They go above and beyond what is asked of these guys, for instance Jamie over heard me talking on the phone to my Husband Friday when he dropped his bike off for the 1,000 mile service. We planned on me coming up an getting a room then picking the bike back up Sat. afternoon I couldnt find any hotel that was reasonable Jamie personally took my husband across the street and got us a good deal on the room for the night. I cant think of any where else that you could get this kind of service and personal touch where they know your name and care about you as these people do they even stay late to get this transaction done the day we purchased the bike I think they closed at 5pm Joe, Jamie, and Scott stayed over until 7:30 pm to get it done. Cant say enough wonderful things about these people I know there are a few I am missing like Nick, Rob, Robert, and Will.
