My Trek 6700 has been sitting in the basement collecting dust for a few years now. A week or so ago, I decided that I might enjoy taking it out in Valley Forge park now that the weather is warming up. With gunk in the chain and tires that were flat I brought my bike over to Twisted Cog where I had the pleasure of meeting Amy, an employee, and Ed, the shop owner. Ed and Amy were super nice. When I told them that I wanted to have a top of the line full service tune up, Ed was quick to tell me that just a basic cleaning and tune up was all that I needed (which saved me about $50). Someone else might have taken advantage of my lack of knowledge. Not with Ed - he is just not that kind of person - just a straight shooter honest small business owner. Anyway, I picked up my bike today. It looked brand new. Ed and his staff did a great job and I used the $50 that Ed saved me on some new cycling gear. I highly recommend this shop - the minute you walk in you will feel like you are dealing with friends! Also Ed has some beautiful bikes in his shop for all ages, all levels of experience and that are attractive to folks with a variety of budgets. I really liked a lime green Boardwalk cruiser complete with leather seat, leather grips and cup holder! Ill definately buy my next bike from Twisted Cog!

Friendliest most helpful shop in the area. They do exceptional work for a great price, and treat their customers like gold. Not sure what Mr. Sawdwd Bqwfqaf is referring to. I think he may be slightly confused, since it would appear by the eccentric name, that its just possible that he is not a real person. I can understand how living in a fictional world would cause the real world to be a confusing and scary place. Sometimes when fictional people are scared, they say things that dont make much sense. We should not judge, however. One day we too may be subject to an upsetting consequence of our own actions in the real world, and we too will need to blame someone else for that--because doing so is necessary for that magical access to our own perfect, private fictional world. If we judge the illustrious Mr. Bqwfqaf harshly, then the sprites and fairies who guard the portal to our beloved personal kingdoms of non-responsibility may deny us access to the magical Land of Denial. And what then? We would have to accept responsibility for our actions. **shiver**

This is by far the best bike shop in the local area. Not only do they have a wide selection of road, trail, and crossover bikes, they also have a fantastic sales and service team. I would highly recommend coming to this shop for all of your riding needs. Wanna go on a long ride but dont know where to start? Ask any of their knowledgeable staff and they will point you in the right direction.

Twisted Cog has been good to me, even though I tend to be stubborn and like to fix things myself. They have treated me fairly. When I needed an expert, like tuning my 56" penny farthing wheel, they did a great job for a fair price. Thumbs up.
