The best bike shop in the area hands down. The staff is experienced and ready to help everyone and anyone who walks in the door. Theyll get you on the right bike and make sure that its running strong. They can order parts and get them quickly, same goes for bikes. The owner Joe, is very knowledgable not just with newer bike but with older bikes too. He always has a smile on his face and is ready to get you the right thing. His kids, Owen and Rachel, take after him and are quick on their heels just like thier father. They constantly have sales going on and the store is always being updated. A great place to go for a bike or any bike related needs. Theyre also right on the trail and have rentals, how great is that?

I ordered a Diamondback bike and had it delivered to Perkiomen Bicycles. Just went to pick it up today. They had put it together and had it right up front waiting for me. We went to put it in the back of the car, but, surprise, surprise, it didnt fit. I thought wed have to buy a bike rack to get it home, but the man in the store kindly showed us how to take the wheel off so that it would fit in the back of the Passat. He could have just sold us a $155 bike rack and wed never have been the wiser. I would highly recommend this shop. They are honest and wont take advantage of someone who doesnt know a lot about bikes!

The team at Perkiomen Bicycles are awesome. I visited the store today for the first time to pick up a bike. I was greeted with a smile and a super friendly attitude. The layout of the store was really cool. They even offer free coffee and popcorn in their lounge if you have to wait. Im a huge advocate of first impressions, and I would definitely come back to make another purchase. Cheers fellas!

Stopped by 20 miles into a cold ride. Joe greeted me with coffee and knowledgeable conversation. No pressure. Showed me some things but they didnt meet my needs. I have a few other things in mind and will definitely make the trip, its well worth it. Also nice to see a bike shop that sells bike things and isnt a clothing store in disguise.

I came in on a whim with some shifting issues. After trying to fix it my self, I called the shop and they fit me in right away. Joe resolved the issue on the spot and had me back on my bike that night. I also found some nice tubeless 29er tires at a great price. This place is worth a visit, they have a lot of bikes and great service.

I had a nice experience at this bike shop. I traded in my bike, which is convenient because many places dont take trade-ins. Joe and his son are friendly and knowledgeable. I am enjoying my new Jamis bike and I will definitely recommend this shop to anyone I know who needs bike service, or is looking to purchase a new, or used bike.

I had a used bike repaired by Tailwind and was very happy with the service. I came back again another day to buy tube repair supplies. Again the service was excellent and helpful. I have a couple more items I need to purchase so I will be going there again tomorrow and I know I will received all the help and information I will need.

Great service and knowledgable staff. They know what they are talking about, but dont make you feel inferior like some shops do. Decent selection and price points, but the best part is they are one of the only shops in the area to have a good selection of used bikes. One of my favorites (and I have been to quite a few).

Went there on impulse with three children in tow after being out on the Perkiomen bike trail at the back of the store. Ended up buying a used bike. They have a great selection, service was excellent, and the whole experience was very good. Recommended!

I have purchased a new Pinarello, a used bike and a number of repair parts from Tailwind. They are great guys. They are even open on Sundays in the winter! This is very handy when I break something on Saturday.
