I used to love this Bike Line store. It has recently come under new management, and all they want to do is upsell, upsell, upsell! I used to be able to trust Jim, however, he is gone now, and one of the new guys there tried to sell me a new cartridge when I just bought a brand new one 2 months ago, and only rode the bike a few times since then. New counter space is nice, however, I was not impressed AT ALL with the people behind it. Wont be going back unless it is for parts... So disappointing. It took me a long time to find a store that was trustworthy, and now it is gone.

I paid extra money for the tune up package and have been bringing my bike up twice a year every year for 5 years. They call me during the week and say you need a new chain that cost 11 dollars and new peddles for 30. They charge me 98 dollars, whoever runs the store now just lost a customer. Ive spent thousands of dollars in that store and will never ever give them another penny. DO GO THEY WILL CHEAT YOU LIKE THEY DID ME!!!

I went into this Bike Line thinking I needed a new back tire tube (just getting into bike riding using an awesome borrowed Trek bike). Instead, they figured out it only needed some TLC! The staff is well versed regarding their products. They are courteous and take a real interest in what it is you are looking for. This place is very expensive. To adjust a chain and brakes of a 20" bike, I was charged over $50. I refused and took my bike to Firehouse bicycles in Philly. I paid $10 for the same service. Plus they are cool and respectful. you wait as they fix your bike. I will never go back to Bikeline.
