This location of Michaels has always been mediocre with regards to selection, cleanliness, and especially customer service. Isnt it "retail law" that you dont close a checkout lane when there is a long line? Especially when closing one lane leaves only one open? Well, Michaels associates clearly care more about their breaks than serving the customers in line to buy the products that generate the revenue which pays their wages. I even asked the clerk "youre leaving one lane open with all of these people in line?" to which he replied "well I could call another checker for you if you want". I gave him my items and walked out. Shouldnt he have called a relief checker by then anyway? This wasnt my first bad experience at this store...but it will be my last.

Employees are rude, and very judgmental. I felt like I was unwanted, and almost left before buying what I had set out for to begin with. Snobby, would be a good word. The products are ok, I have been to other locations with more if a variety, and nicer staff. Overall, if you know of another, in driving distance, and can stand the extra miles, go for it.
