I love the store. But.. It is ALWAYS TOO HOT in the store. I spend a lot of money in the Chico, Ca. store. But 9 out of 10 times I leave early because the store is too hot. Ive spoke with the manager, super nice guy and basically his hands are tied. Corporate controls store temps. I try never to go during the summer because of the heat.

Very disappointed. They dont carry half the jewelry making supplies they used to. Couldnt find much of a variety of candy molds either. Theyre trying to sell too much decorative stuff, you are a craft store you should have everything to make crafts. You are very limited these days Michaels not happy.

Poorly managed store. Asked where things were and was not shown, only told. While waiting to check out, the cashier called for assistance multiple times but was not answered. He thankfully, had a great attitude and made the visit end on a higher note.

If you are into crafts, "making", or other hands-on hobbies, theres a good chance that you will find your way to Michaels. It turned out that they were the only store I visited that had a certain style of brush that I needed to complete a project.

Best Michaels Ive been into. They have great selections and frequent sales. For 50 bucks I walked out with a ton of loot. They also have art classes here which is super cool.
