Let me tell you a story as to why I rated this Target a 1. Awhile back (few years) I wanted to buy a Xbox 360 game that was on sale at bestbuy. The SE Portland Bestbuy was sold out however. So i went to Fred Myer next door. Sold out as well. Troubled i sat in my car wondering where else i could go (it was also nearing 9:00pm and most stores were closing. I looked up the hours for game stop located next to this target and had time to just make it there. Well they were sold out too. But now target was standing in front of me so i though. Oh they sell video games ill check here while im here. Well they had it in stock AWESOME!! Finely i found it. I asked the electronics rep to get it out of the case for me and also informed him that it was on sale at Bestbuy and confirmed they price match. He said they do but they have to have a copy of the ad. Uhhh ok well i have it here on my smart phone. He said they had to have a hard copy. (Keep in mind the rep was very nice about it and even gave the impression that he too though this was a stupid policy) I said no thats ridiculous can i speak to a manager. He said no problem and fetched me one. The manager came and i explained to her that i had been looking for this game all over town Best buy had it on sale i have the ad here on my phone etc. She said sorry thats our policy. I told her its 2013 i get emailed stores ads including Target. She again said sorry thats our policy. So i left very angry at Target. My last stop was Walmart. I went to the electronics department they also had it in stock. The rep came i asked him to get it for me and explained that best buy had it on sale and again confirmed that they also price match. He said yes as long as they can confirm the ad. I told him i have it here on my phone showing him my phone screen. He looked at it for a second and said "Hm yeah that will work" So now i try to avoid Target entirely but esp this one.

I will never place a online order to be picked up at the Clackamas Target ever again. I placed one order for in store pickup at the end of October. It is now November 15th and I still havent had the whole order filled. The first time I went to the store to pick up my items they didnt give me all if the items that were picked. I had to return and fight with them to give me the rest of the things that were in stock. I also had items cancelled from that order that were in stock, saying that the item wasnt in stock. I checked the shelves while we were grabbing a few last minute things and those items that were cancelled were sitting on the shelf. And now after I had gotten an email saying after weeks of waiting that the last few items that were ORDERED AND SHIPPED TO THE STORE were cancelled. What the heck is going on at this store? The one time I decide to shop in Clackamas instead of Gresham I get a huge headache. The Fairview store has NEVER done any of this stuff with any of the orders Ive placed over the last year when I first started ordering online.

I wish I could give this store zero stars. After 22 years of more than exemplary service and loyalty to Target, they let my mom go over politics. Not because she couldnt do her job, not because she did anything wrong, but because they didnt want to pay her to do her job when they could pay someone new to do it for less. She managed that store better than her bosses did, and she even trained most of them. One person didnt like her and thats more important than 22 years of loyalty. Finding her a new position, or a new store, would be too much work, letting her go was easier. I was raised on target everything. I went there every single year for take your daughter to work day growing up. I used to respect target, even thought I might want to work there someday when I was a kid. I wont be shopping there anymore, and neither will my friends and family. Corporate target doesnt care about their employees, or loyalty, they care about money, and you can go ahead and ask most employees that have worked there or work there now how theyre treated.

Horrible customer service. I was attempting to check out in self check out and I had to split my transactions due to having to buy some stuff for another family. I was in the middle of the first transaction and this guy with curly semi long hair comes up to me and informs me that I can only use one coupon due to it being a limit of one per day. I said that I understood that and finished my first transaction which contains of medicine for the hair and some lysol spray. I then start to do my own transaction which contains a giftcard promotion and in the middle of my transaction, the guy literally stops me, cancels my transaction and tell me that I could only get a gift card once and that he had already told me that. Well excuse me but thats highly rude! I felt so discriminated because of the way he treated me with no respect. Contacting corporate.

I believe Target is the worst store especially the Clackamas Town center. My sister has worked and been loyal to this company for over twenty-two years and because of one manager that has a bias against her made it her mission to attack and get rid of her. I dont understand how a company can allow this to happen. We give our blood, sweat tears and loyalty to a company and they allow a new manager to come along and have personal biases against a person for what ever selfish reason and get rid of a long term loyal employee. I feel the corporate office must be sleeping on the job to allow this to happen. What are we suppose to tell our children and our future employees? work hard be loyal and you might have job security, oh, unless someone comes along and doesnt like you personally so they single you out to get rid of you. VERY SAD Target

This is one of my favorite locations, even though its not near me. Its near Menchies, and CeramiCafe and across from the mall - so it can be as big or as little a trip as you want. :-) Some people mistakenly believe that all stores have the same stuff in them, but its just not true! Im constantly going and seeing brand new things in Target - things that I would never see anywhere else. From Post-it notes the size of a sweater to scissors that look like the Eiffel Tower, my favorite section is stationary. My husband loves all the great deals he finds in clothing. Oh, and make sure you finish up in the grocery section because the prices there are really good and if you have to eat gluten-free, theyve got some good frozen dinners. After spending a long time deciding which hairdryer I liked and finding it on sale to boot, I went to the cashier with it and about $150 more of items. When the hair dryer was rung up it appeared on the receipt at $10 more than the sign reflected. The cashier was very nice, but the person coming from the section was not. He came close to accusing me of switching the signs and neither he nor the MOD would honor the stores mistake. I then purchased another dryer and discovered it didnt work! So, after driving another ten miles out of my way I did get hair dryer #3 and decided once and for all to stop shopping at Target. Since I am a person who has worked in retail for THIRTY years I know when a customer is right. This is a store Ive spend a lot of money in but I wont be back again.
