Never, ever, buy an Electrolux washer and dryer! My husband and I purchased an Electrolux washer (Model EFLS617SIW) and dryer (EFMG617SIW) from Appliance Center in September of 2016. We have had nothing but problems with them. They didnt work right from the start, and after much frustration, we first had them looked at in April, through Household, a place recommended by Electrolux. The repairman ordered parts for the dryer (new board and switch) but did nothing for the washer. We continued to have problems with both machines and then found out Appliance Center could service Electrolux. After looking at the machines, the repairman made a few adjustments on the dryer and found that the washer also needed new parts! We went to the store and spoke with a manager. We were told to go ahead and have it fixed, and then we could take it to the next level. Well, we had the washer “fixed”, and it’s still not working right! The dryer design is so poor. When drying, clothes come out over the lint trap. The dryer senses that the trap is full, and the machine stops and says “clean lint”. We understand the concept of saving energy, and that the dryer will stop before the set time if the clothes are dry, but the clothes aren’t dry when this happens. It’s very annoying to have it stop every few minutes and have to restart. Also, clothes don’t dry evenly. For example, if I wash a load of towels, some of them will be dry and some still very damp. It doesn’t matter if I do a large load or small, I have the same problem. The washer still shakes and is loud even after being “fixed”. When it spins, it sounds like it’s going to take off. It doesn’t matter if it’s on low, medium or high spin. It all sounds the same. We again contacted the store manager. Apparently taking it to the next level means having them “fixed” yet again. We don’t want to keep having them “fixed”! What happens when the warranty is up? Electrolux denied the claim that we need new machines. We don’t want new Electrolux machines anyway! We want our money back! Electrolux Customer Service is a joke. They just say they are sorry about the problems and understand our frustration. No they don’t. We are so disappointed in these machines. They aren’t even a year old! Our old washer and dryer lasted about 16 years and never needed serviced. We consider these machines to be lemons. We’re tired of dealing with this, and feel that no matter how many times they are fixed, they will never be right. Update 8/16/2017: The washer and dryer were serviced AGAIN by Household because they still don’t work right. I believe this was the 5th repair call. The washer is still loud and shakes, even though the repairman said it was operating normally at the time of service! Normally on what planet??? Now the dryer has started shaking more. It needed yet another new part. The lint trap was missing a seal, so lint was apparently building up underneath. It has been this way all along, but this was the first time anyone noticed it. We spent almost $2000.00 for these useless machines. Yesterday the washer started leaking from the door. I was told this was probably because or a hair. Seriously? A hair? During my last call to Electrolux customer service, the representative had the nerve to suggest we purchase an extended warranty! I told her we wouldn’t spend anymore money on this. If Appliance Center had any integrity at all, they would give us our money back so we can purchase a washer and dryer that actually work like they should.

DO NOT USE! Bought a washer and dryer - was told it would be ready for delivery in 7-9 days. On day 10, still nothing - called and given run around. On day 12 at 2:30pm was called and said it was in. Said great, I am here when will the truck be out today with it? Was told they dont do same day delivery unless it is a refrigerator..... even after being told 7-9 days and it was only 2:30pm on day 12. They came on day 13 to deliver, the delivery man took the protective plastic off before moving appliances off the truck and installing and the dryer now has a huge scratch. After asking about why the plastic was removed and pointing out the scratch was told nothing could be done. The washer was supposed to include the lines and be hooked up during installation: at first delivery man said it didnt come with any. After calling, they said it was supposed to and magically he found them and installed them. We checked after he installed them - he put cold to hot and hot to cold.... Completely incompetent installation, very poor customer service via phone, scratched appliance, poor communication, and does not uphold promised delivery dates! Will never use again!

DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT purchase anything from the Appliance Center. They treat their customers horribly. My husband and I are in the process of totally remodeling our kitchen. We purposely sought out local companies to build and buy our cabinets, flooring, and appliances from. We had no issues with the cabinet and flooring companies. However, we ordered a Whirlpool refrigerator, range, microwave, and dishwasher from Appliance Center on April 26, 2017. It is now June 20, 2017 and we are still waiting on the refrigerator. The manager just called my husband and told him the refrigerator would not be delivered until after July 4, 2017 when it has been promised to us several times already. We have been without a refrigerator for almost 3 months. We have been eating out 3 meals a day. What I had hoped to save on the cost of appliances, I have far exceeded in eating out. I could have purchased a SubZero refrigerator for all the money we have spent. The next time I will forget about shopping locally and buying American made. I will shop at the Big Box stores and buy Chinese or Korean products. I would never recommend Appliance Center to anyone.

Bought a dining set and the bench cracked after only being sat on a couple times. After 2 months of calling to see what was going on they repaired the bench only to have it crack 2 minutes after the guy left. It was never touched after he repaired it and we heard it crack from across the room. We have continuously been told that they would call us back to let us know what was going on and they never call back. I have talked to Managers Jules & Jeff, which both promised to call back and have not. When I call they are always on the phone, gone, or with a customer and NEVER have they called back. I asked for them to come get it and a full refund but was declined. I WOULD HONESTLY NOT BUY FROM HERE AGAIN. Bought cabinets from them as well and they were crap. Even the sales lady said that she would not put them in her own home. They would not let us return them but ordered us new cabinet fronts only to have them look the same as the first ones. They sent a guy to fill the cracks and chips but fillers do fall out. VERY POOR QUALITY OF EVERYTHING WE HAVE BOUGHT FROM THERE AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM MANAGEMENT IS WORSE!!!!

My family and I have been coming to the Appliance Center since they were located over by the Parkway Plaza and have been a loyal customer since that time. Unfortunately, the small town customer service Chuck Oswald dedicated himself to achieve for many years has fallen by the wayside. My husband and I went to the store last night to order carpet and we were greeted at the door and was told Amy Jo who we had spoken to about the carpet previously was not working. I explained that we know what we want and would like to just place the order. We were told the only person working in that department was Jane and she was with someone and didnt know how long it would be but it could be a while. This was 6:45pm. I said no problem, we will go have dinner and we will be back between 8:00-8:30. We were then told we would need to be back sooner because Jane was only working until 8:00. I said youre opened until 9:00 yet nobody will be here to help us from 8:00-9:00? She said thats right so make sure youre back before 8:00. At this point we walked out and needless to say did not go back before the 8:00 deadline and wont be back.
