Pets With Potential

Bought a Jeep Liberty from them recently. Before seeing them online I had no idea who they were, read a few reviews that said they were honest and upfront, all of this became evident when I stopped by, and purchased the jeep. They are very knowledgeable on the vehicles they sell, not one question was meet with an "I dont know" or "Ill have to check on that" . All of the known issues with the vehicle that they were aware of was discussed, which honestly was just some rust that seemed to scare most away-I do not mind a little body work personally-and the price for the vehicle was adjusted for this problem, which was better than fair for the vehicle and options. Of course being a consumer I wanted to haggle over price at least a little, and at first they were flexible, we test drove it, all the mechanicals were in excellent shape for a 2002 Jeep, i would say better than most 2002 vehicles. After a long test drive (half hour) we came back and I popped the hood, etc you know the drill..I looked under and noticed a small drip. the salesman actually got down and looked as well, then told me he did not want to sell the vehicle to me in that condition, they wanted to check it first. That same night they had it up and checked, replaced the oil pan and gasket, and two transmission lines, all of this just to ensure they sold a reliable vehicle to a customer. AND NO THE PRICE DID NOT GO UP, to my amazement!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I appreciated the honesty, upfront and open policy here so much, I put a deposit on the Jeep until they could finish repairs and bought it as soon as they were done. I guarantee when I am in the market again for a vehicle this will be my first stop, and if they dont have what I want I will discuss with them to find me one, because I know they will get me a great vehicle, worth buying! Anyone I know will be sent in their direction as well.

After searching for a specific truck in the Cincinnati area I found what I was after at Borderline. In my price range the majority of what I had seen was in poor condition with a lot more miles than I was willing to settle at. Borderlines inventory, mileage, condition & pricing was far superior than anywhere else, especially the major car dealerships. Dealing with Ed and his folks has been the most pleasurable experience I have ever had while car buying. Their after purchase service is also excellent. We discovered an issue with the key that came with the truck. Ed worked with me to resolve as well as located a replacement rim that I needed.
