Please use my experience as a lesson learned and avoid this business. I was looking for a truck because I bought a house that is a fixer upper and needed a vehicle I could use to move materials from Home Depot to my house. I found a truck at Weinle East and made contact. They were very friendly and even made arrangements to meet me on Sunday to do a test drive. I test drove the vehicle down the road to an empty lot and did a brief inspection looking for leaks etc. The truck seemed to run fine and didnt leak any fluids so I drove back and spoke with the salesman. I asked a few questions about the truck and he was put off by my questions. He seemed offended when I asked about where the truck came from and how it was used by the previous owner. He assured me the truck would be a good truck for ten years. He said he had a packet of paperwork to show the truck had been fully maintained and started getting a little pushy at that point. He seemed a little off but I figured it was because he was working on Sunday and wanted to get out of there. I decided to buy the truck and we did the paperwork. I drove off the lot and drove two hours home. I was able to make one trip to Home Depot to pick up a bathroom vanity but that was the only trip I was able to make before the truck broke down. I was driving on the highway and the truck just shut off. the gauges went crazy and I almost crashed as the power steering and brakes stopped working when the truck died. I pulled over and tried to restart. After about 30 minutes it did start and I continued driving. A few minutes later it died again. Please keep in mind I hadnt made the first payment yet. I was able to get the truck to a Goodyear garage for diagnosis. They said it needed a crank sensor so I paid over $200 to have the repair done. I drove the truck home the next day. It made it about 15 miles and died again. I was able to restart it and return to Goodyear where they spent 5 hours working on it and were unable to diagnose the problem so I had the truck towed to the Dodge dealer. Their diagnosis was the ECM/PCM needed to be replaced. The cost... $860.00. I bought a computer myself and installed it. That cost was $310.00. I contacted Weinle to inform them that the truck that would "make someone a good truck for ten years" didnt make it ten weeks. I asked them to pay for the computer because the mechanic said the computer has been full of codes for quite some time and I felt Weinle misrepresented the vehicle to me when they sold it in addition to the fact that the motor had been taken out recently because it has all new gaskets. That was never disclosed to me. Weinle agreed to pay for the computer but never did. But that doesnt matter because about 60 miles after installing the new computer the problem has resurfaced. In the end I have spent more on repairs than I have car payments to this point. I sent in my second car payment while the truck sit broken down in my driveway. I cant work on my house because the truck doesnt run and I am now spending my money on repairs for the truck instead of my house. Thanks for passing your problem on to me Weinel East. Save yourself the headache...go someplace else to buy a vehicle. Follow-up...still no response from Weinle East and more specifically Fred. He agreed to pay for the ECM if I replaced it. Two weeks later and no check.

I took my grandson there to buy him a car before he went to college. They has a Subaru he was very interested in buying. We were greeted by a very nice lady at the office, but Mr Weinle was not at the business. She called him, but he did not come to the store. She gave us the keys to the car for a test drive, which we did, and when we returned found that he still had not shown up. After negotiations over the phone we agree on a price. She suggested we go have some lunch, which we did. Finally upon returning to the store, Mr. Weinle was busy doing the paperwork. There were items on the window sticker of the car that were not on the car, and he printed a paper stating the car was sold with no warranty. I question him about this, and he said that was an extra that they discuss with the client at the time of purchase. I told him, if has shown up during the purchasing process we may have had the opportunity of discussing the warranty. He finally relented and included the warranty. My grandson drove the car about three days after the purchase, when the front cowling fell off, and he drove over it of course, not having a chance to stop. This tells me that after washing the car for delivery they did not check this very well, or decided to omit that the cowling was loose.

I just wanted to put in a comment about my experience at Weinle East. I purchased a Hummer from here a day ago and wanted to let future purchasers know that Doug made this an extremely easy, pleasurable experience for me. Ive purchased from big dealerships before and have had horrible experiences with the sales/finance employees trying to make a profit off of me and pressuring me to the point of making me feel unhappy about my purchase. Aside from going above and beyond for me to fix the tiny little interior cosmetic things that were wrong with no hesitation he was very welcoming and patient. I called to let him know the time I was arriving and he already had the vehicle pulled in a garage and warmed up for me to test drive. Finding a business where an employee treats it as his own and takes his time to enjoy the moment is very rare in this world. I know that I kept him there 2 hours past closing and he did not show one sign of eagerness to close the doors and gave me undivided attention. The process was quick and without pressure or any feeling of unease. I highly recommend them for purchasing and trading in vehicles. I was pleasantly surprised at what I received for my trade-in and what deal we were able to achieve with a solid warranty.

I bought a car that had a problem the day that I came to pick it up and they found the problem and fixed it before they would let me take it home. They are very professional people and I am very happy with the service and everything I received.
