So, so disappointed in this store. I agree with the other reviews. This store has always been great with quick customer service, a great feel, clean, quick service and knowledgeable staff. Ive always had the work completed on the spot or within 2 hours of dropping it off. Today (a Monday), I stopped by with my bike for some much needed tune-up work and they said I could schedule an appointment for 10 days from now. They were very shot and their usually friendliness was gone. The last time I was in the shop they put a 27.5 inner tube on my wifes 26 in tire. It blew out and the fixed it quickly and free of charge. They were very friendly. Not sure if I caught them on a bad day or what but their friendly quick customer service disappeared. I used to recommend this shop to anyone on this side of town interested in biking. Now Im just really scratching my head and will seek other alternatives. My two bikes that we use daily were bought here, we are looking to upgrade, but now Im searching for a store that has a great feel and customer service as this one has changed.

Terrible experience! The salesman immediately tried to sell me on a bike tune-up for $75 without asking why I brought the bike in. When I told him it was a brand new bike, hardly ridden, another salesmen took over and started bashing where I purchased the bike. He insisted the bike wasnt put together right or safe to ride. I explained I came in for a flat tire and for the peddles to be checked. So he then decided he would offer a safety check for $45 and $20 for a new tire (he never checked or considered if it was the inner tube). He then tells me he cannot get to the repairs for a week. I kindly said no thank you and left. Good decision on my part because I went to another bike store, they replaced the inner tube (not an all new tire, it wasnt needed!) adjusted two bikes, and replaced a tire on another bike all for $45 total. Shame on you Trek for having such shady business tactics!

I visited this Trek Store for the first time a few months ago. My first impression was that it was immaculate which I fully expected from a company like Trek. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly have a passion for bikes and helping others to find that same passion. Since my first visit I have made this my go to local shop for anytime I need supplies, parts or service, and they are always exceeding my expectaions. I brought my bike in two weeks ago for a pre-race tune up and even made it on the podium for the first time. I have got to think it was because the mechanic had my bike running silky smooth. Thank you Trek Bicycle Store of South Charlotte. Next time you and the family are out on the Green way in Ballantyne or are just driving by, stop in to see what they have to offer and how they can meet your cycling needs.

Best shop ever! A bike shop is a important part in becoming a cyclist, and this shop makes you feel like your apart of team/cyclist world as soon as you step into the store. Great customer service from the sales team Kenny, Shea, and Brad. And if I ever need repairs or even just advice the mechanics Matt, Trey,Jon,and Alex are always there to help me out. And I definitely couldnt leave out the spirit booster, hard worker and store manager Ang. She is awesome! Lets face it , things happen, flat tires, crashes, broken parts, etc sometimes that can make you sad or mad coming into the shop fearing you wont be able to ride, etc but Ang will make sure you leave with a smile.

I have been doing business with this store for about a year now. Very pleased with the service I get there. The team that runs this store always make time for their customers, even when they are really busy. They are not the biggest store with the widest selection but they can get just about anything trek related because they have several others stores in the area. They have a great group ride a couple of times a week too. 5 Stars! To Dave who writes the 1 Star reveiw...Really? Someone has an off day and you give the store 1 Star? No one is perfect. Most normal people will probably realize that YOU were probably having a bad day when you wrote the review.

Im guessing some of the other reviewers caught the store on some type of off day because even when busy Ive been greeted with great customer service. The longest Ive had to wait was 10 minutes and it was crazy busy on a Saturday. I can deal with that since, to me, a lot of people in the store usually means they have a good reputation. They cannot keep an unlimited amount of people on staff, so if it gets busy you will need to wait from time to time. Im from CT where we had Zanes Cycles which is an epic store. This place is smaller, but theyve earned me as a loyal customer for the future.

Recently stopped into this store since it opened right around the corner from my work. First impressions were great, store was very well organized and clean, staff was freindly and very helpful. Was in the market to purchased a helmet, Ang was very helpful with getting me setup with a Bontrager helmet I liked they had to order the correct sizein the color I shose but it showed up within a couple days and the called me back to let me know it was ready for pickup. If you are in the area I recommend stopping in and checking the store out for yourself. Derrick

I had just had a terrible experience with another bike shop, so I had the Trek store install my fork for me. at first I was on edge from my previous experiences, but the great prices, and excellent customer service laid my fears to rest. They really care about their customers. Matt the service manager was very knowledgable, and answered all my questions, and gave me additional advice, he was very patient, and I will certainly be doing business with him again.

Its great to find a store that cares about their customers. They have been extremely helpful with getting me on the trail and keeping me there with their excellent customer service in sales and in service. Francisco (service manager) is one of the good ones. He will teach you the service you are purchasing so you dont have to pay for them to do it again. I am looking forward to being a customer of theirs in the future.

I recently visited the new Trek Store in Charlotte. I was surprised at the great feel and vibe of the store. The store is super clean and the staff was great. They all went out of their way to make me feel comfortable in the store and were extremely knowledgeable about the Trek Bikes they sell. I will definitely be going back! This is the best bike shop in south Charlotte.

I am glad to have a new bike store so close to home. Even though this is a "Trek Store", they are able to service all types of bikes and order anything you need. The staff is great and very knowledgeable. They are willing to provide simple advice or full bicycle service. I would not hesitate to recommend this store for your bicycling needs.
