08/05/13 I went in to Paradise Bicycles today to look for help in figuring out how to pump up my recently purchased road bike today. I brought in a pump a neighbor gave me and asked if he could help me understand how to pump up my tire (I am new to the sport). He just looked at me and said he couldnt help me. He said I only know how are pumps work and told me my pump looked like a Walmart pump (I am pretty sure he was being really condescending) . This guy had the biggest attitude in the world. I said I think there are only 2 different types of tire pumps and was just not familiar with the road bike kind. He again told me he only knows their pumps and couldnt help me. I asked him if he was being serious and he said yep. I didnt purchase my bike in Florida; but did buy my petals and shoes there. They either need to hire a more educated bike staff or teach some customer service skills to there employees. I will never give them any of my business again or recommend them to anyone. I was told that Fort Myers Schwinn is the place to go and has an excellent staff there. Update: I went there the next day. They happily explained how I could use a converter to use a regular tire pump. The sales associate was very helpful and personable. Night and day difference on service. I bought a .99 cent part to fix the issue. He is now working on another problem I had with my road bike. I recently learned that from others that I was more than likely dealing with the owners son. It totally makes sense; because I dont believe any regularly paid employee would ever land a job with that guys attitude and customer service skills. Dont do it and go somewhere else! Fort Myers Schwinn does the right thing. I had a mountain bike repaired there before; the only thing I am regretting is thinking I could get the same service everywhere.

Ive been in here a few times - owner and staff have always bent over backward to be helpful to me, even though Im clearly a guy who buys junk bikes cheap and fixes them up. Ive never spent much money in here, but Ive always been treated like the world revolved around me when I was in the store. Owner and staff have gone out of their way to help me solve problems. Theyve dug used parts out of the back and sold them to me dirt cheap when I didnt want new parts. Theyve showed me how to make my own custom length brake cables rather than telling me to bring in my bike and let them do it. I might add that theyve always been very friendly in my 3 or 4 experiences in this shop - theyve never rushed me, in fact they are willing to strike up a conversation about stuff other than the business at hand. Businesses with a bad attitude simply do not do this - these guys are service oriented and honest. Id recommend them to anyone.

2014 Decided it was time for a new bike after having an aluminum frame for 14 years. At this point anything would be an improvement, and it was. More importantly the buying experience was just great. The folks at Paradise Bicycles treated like family, there was no pressure, they let me try the bikes I was interested. Id happily recommend the folks at Paradise Bicycle. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I would happily recommend Paradise Bicycles. Recently I had a problem with constant spoke breakage with a wheel I had purchased from Paradise. The staff were always helpful to get the spoke replaced. After several replacements they recommended sending the entire wheel back to the supplier. During the entire process the staff at Paradise kept me informed. Excellent service and Customer Support!!!! You have definitely earned my next business. Thanks Shawn and the others at Paradise. Steve C.

I went there today looking for help with the front forks on my collectors edition Harley Davidson 12 speed and parts for my girlfriends bike. The young man working there there was less than helpful. He didnt even look at the forks "Throw the thing away, I wouldnt give you $10 for that piece of junk. I wouldnt even give you a quote, its not worth fixing." Well thats his opinion, this bike is important to me, so I went elsewhere for parts for the second bike and will shop around for someone to fix the collectors edition. I have told the friend who recommended Paradise, and you can bet she wont be sending anyone else there.

I took my well-used recumbent bicycle for an annual tune-up here and was pleasantly surprised at not only the reasonable price (under $60 before tax), but how well the bike performed afterwards. My bicycle runs better than it ever has. Where before it was slipping in a couple gears and I couldnt get it to shift into low, afterwards it ran as it must have on the day it came from the manufacturer. It runs and shifts like a new bike. I also have a couple new Fuji bicycles, and I know what "new" runs like. You cant go wrong at Paradise Bicycles!

I went looking for a rim replacement for my old bent front wheel. Despite an initial mishap at the moment of placing my order, they got my new rim and they gave me 10 dollars credit for the inconvenience. Also they didnt charge me for labor. They are very professional and friendly people. I recommend them. Alex.

Very impressed. Great, fast service. Very professional. Took the time to explain to me what would be done and how components on my bike worked. Highly recommend for bike repair, tune up and or tire work. Not to mention they have some very nice quality Giant bikes on their show room floor!

I was a walk-in for a rear flat repair. The lady who repaired my bike took care of me right away and replaced the tube while I waited. They were friendly and the price was quite reasonable. I will be back when Im ready for a new bike, or sooner if I need service again.

Sold me a chain that rusted completely in 4 weeks. Also told me my brake was fine when it was leaking oil from the master cylinder. I took it to a different shop, and they identified the problem, requiring a new brake kit or a rebuild. What a joke these people are.

They have a attitude of take it or leave it . If you are looking for a good price go somewhere else as I did and saved $90.00 on a $550.00 bike, at another dealer .Where I was also made to feel like a valued customer.

We have gone to this place exclusively for the past 10 years. Our whole family has bikes bought from this dealer. They are wonderful, honest, and sell top notch products.
