Discount Tire location in Coon rapids, Minnesota So what is the point of making appointments with a local Discount tire shop if they dont hold to their appointment times???? I made an appointment for today at 11:45am... I showed up at 11:20 because being early is a courteous thing to do. Well once I pay and give them my keys they tell me it is going to be at least a 1.5 hours until my car can get in... WHAT?! I can understand if its 30 minutes, no big deal... but 1.5 hours??? for an 11:45 appointment? I asked the guy why it would take so long, and he said there were a lot of walk-ins that came in just before I arrived.... I asked him "so my appointment was useless?" he said "no sir, we will get you in as soon as we can".... ok I decided to see how well they would hold to the "as soon as we can" method.... well an hour into the wait two people came in with out appointment because they asked if they did walk-ins at this location, they purchased tires and their vehicles were in the shop with in 20 minutes of their arrival... and my car... still in the parking lot... WHAT?!? I walked up and asked another guy "when will my vehicle be taken care of?" the man replied "what time is your appointment?" so I told him "11:45am" and he replied with "well Im sure the guys will get to it soon" and I told him "Ive been waiting for well over an hour and a half now and I would like to get my money back and my keys, I need to get to work, I dont have time for this" he told me that my car would be the next one in the shop. well after waiting another hour my car was finally brought into the shop and tires were put on, then they tell me when they hand me my keys that I have a bad TPMS and that it will cost me at least $70 to fix and another 30 minute wait, obviously I said no, and that I couldnt believe that it took this long to get my car done and they didnt provide the courtesy to just fix it while the wheel was off? not pleased with the service... 11:45am appointment, and car was done at 2:15pm... something wrong here?

I came here to purchase a set of tires and the quality of service at the desk is a complete garbage. I am not pleased with this Discount Tire location at all. Walked in and one of the employee was helping a customer, totally understand but did not greet or say Ill be with you just a moment. After helping the guy, the employee walked away and he knew he saw that I was waiting behind the customer that he was helping. I took a seat waiting for him to return. He came back in through the back door and a customer walked in and the employee greeted the new customer instead. It was not even BUSY at 10am in the morning. Complete waste of my 15 minutes. Drove to Discount Tires in Rogers, Mn and they have better customer service than this piece of turd employee and location.

I purchased 4 brand new tires from them and within 1 day my TPMS light comes on. Thinking its going to be a simple fix we brought the vehicle in. They pretty much just put my tires to a air test and then said they have no idea why the TPMS light would come on. We reset the light. Within 1 day again the TPMS light comes on. We brought the vehicle into them again and they did the same exact thing. Even though I told them the tire pressure was fine. They then said it was above what they could do at this shop and that i would have to bring it in somewhere else. We just spent over 700 dollars on new tires and signed up for your credit card and you can do nothing to help me. Very disappointed will never use discount tire again. Credit Card has been cancelled.

First off, I have always been a great discount tire customer, I never bring wheels and tires anywhere else. But this is twice now that the sales staff has gotten rude/upset with me when I came to have tires mounted. The first time was with a new pair of wheels, I purchased tires through them. The salesman got upset that I didnt order the wheels through him. Now this time, a different salesman got upset when I ordered tires through discount tire direct and not the store. Even charged me more for mounting and balancing. Ill go elsewhere from now on, Maybe a Ma and Pa shop that doesnt get upset when all I want is a simple mount and balance.

Ive been to this location several times and Ive always had a good experience. In general, I really like Discount Tire. Very low pressure sales. If Ive already done my research online and placed my order, they dont try to up sell. On the other hand, if I havent already made up my mind, they are very helpful and I dont ever feel like they are steering me toward the tires that are most profitable to them. Tires are all they do so you also dont get hassled to replace your air filter or any other maintenance. The staff at this location has always been great and typically their price cant be beat even at the "wholesale" club down the road.

Discount Tire, as a company, had been recommended to me by a family member. They actually use another branch than Coin Rapids so I hoping that the quality service was unique to there location. Thankfully. It wasnt. From the initial phone call, to the salesperson and to the mechanic completing the job and returning my car, everything went smoothly. When choosing which tyres to purchase the salesperson actually recommended a slightly cheaper brand. It was explained that this was better value and more closely matched my needs. Will be recommending Discount Tire to others on vslue, efficiency snd, overall, positive experience.

after dropping off a tire with a small nail hole in the center of the tire and a leaky valve stem , the tech said he would not fix the tire because of excessive edge wear on the tire . Im a machinist and while there was some edge wear , it was no way excessive. this is the second issue in a row with them . I have brought 1000s of dollars worth of business their way as I own my own shop and have sent my employees their way. They will find every excuse in the book not to fix your tire so they can sell you a new one . They will no longer get any of my business

I have decided this is the only place to go! They have ALWAYS had great customer service. I was there today to get just one tire put on a rim. I had my 2 younger children with me and they got me in and out quickly. On top of that I got a phone call close to 20 mins later. We dropped a jacket walking back to the car. Not only did they call me and tell me they had it, when I pulled up they brought it out to me, so out wouldnt have to unload the kids.

R U serious?! Damn, I went there today with (what I thought was) front end problems and it turned out to be merely loose lug nuts on one front wheel. They filled up all the tires and torqued the lug nuts on all the wheels. I asked "how much?" and even insisted on paying for labor. Nope! They wouldnt take a dime! Guess where Im going the next time I need tires? LOL Great service with a smile!
