I read a review here and I totally agree. This is the review..... "Is Pablo there? Hes the only one I can trust." I agree, he is the only one that talks to you like a friend. I went to the shop to purchase a bicycle, and Pablo wasnt there. A mechanic came out and did a horrible job trying to sell me a bike. He didnt know how to answer all my questions and just stood next to me all the time waiting. I ended up purchasing my bike at RideOn sports (which i was welcomed with a strong hand shake and "how are you and how can i help you?" Well, after meeting Pablo i only buy my bicycle needs at Outdoor Adventures. He is an awesome and very friendly person. People should know by now that customer services is one of the most important things to think about. Pablo is very patient and polite. He seems to know a lot more about bikes than the mechanics there. I love the place, the owner also seems like a cool guy. CUSTOMER service guys. Find people like Pablo and you will have a 100% / 5 star bike shop.

I have NEVER experienced anything that the other reviewer of this store has said. The owner and staff from outdoor adventures are extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and fair on prices. I have gone in their store many times just to look at bikes and compare prices, and they are always willing to get down a bike from the top rack for me. They even let me take their most expensive bikes outside to test ride them if I want to. Once, they even kept the store open for me after closing because I was bringing in my bike for upgrades, when I didnt even buy the bike from them because I happened to find a used bike for a lot cheaper. (For the record I feel really guilty about that!) Outdoor Adventures is the only place in Las Cruces I trust with my bikes, and obviously, if the staff was that rude to the other reviewer, he must have been doing something to REALLY deserve it.

I have been doing business with Outdoor Adventures now since early 2008. We recently picked up a new bike for my son, and as normal, Pablo and the team were great! Pablo has been there for as long as I have been doing business with them. He takes the time to get to know you, and must have a better memory than me! He always remembers me, even if its months between times I go in for something. If they are busy, just give them try and trust me, the service is worth any wait! Every customer gets the best service possible! If you need a bike, service, parts, or anything outdoor related, seriously consider giving Outdoor Adventures your first call. They are the only local store to carry Trek, and that is the brand Ive grown to trust and love for its proven reliability. Trek and Outdoor Adventures go hand in hand!

owner is an absolute fackturd with an attitude. Asked him for a 451 tube, he was like "What is _that_?? Ive been doing this for fifty-seven years, and Ive NEVER HEARD OF THAT"- like Im making it up or something. Well, thats your problem, fool. Instead of patronizing your piece of crap shop, Im shopping online. When I told him what it was, he was all sarcastic, like, wow, thanks for that. Gee, Im so sorry that I needed a rare size. Since you dont care to even be polite to your customers with odd parts needs, Ill deal with somebody else. Ass.

I was very disappointed with Outdoor Adventures bike shop and customer service. They spent five weeks replacing the rear rim of my Trek bike. And, they didnt move the silver reflector from the spokes of my old rim to the new one. When I contacted Mr. Donahue via email about the oversight, he ignored me. And, as I remounted my wheel the next day, I discovered that its tire was flat. So, Im done! I will NEVER shop at Outdoor Adventures again. Howard J. Brewington

We have purchased 4 bikes from them over the past 10 years. The sales and service have always been outstanding. Yes, the owner can be a bit grumpy at times but I have seen a whole lot more customers with attitude problems than I every have seen from the staff. Estus, Mike, Pablo and Scott each bring something different to the table but all are very knowledge and very willing to purse the answer to any question. Highly recommend.

OA is the best! Best mechanics (highly skilled, very fairly priced, solve problems), best sales folks (know bikes, listen to customers), and best part of the cycling community (ride, help others, laugh, support cycling of all types, speeds, abilities). Bought two of my three bikes from OA - no one touches them but me and the guys at the shop! This is The Bike Shop of the Mesilla Valley!!

Outdoor Adventure is a great shop doing great work in Las Cruces. The staff was very accommodating to a couple of out-of-town cyclists, bending over backwards to help us and provide us with great information about local trails and riding conditions. Plus they had some pretty dang cool bikes and gear. I would recommend to any cyclist looking for a quality shop. Best bike shop in Cruces!

The staff are wonderful; its the nasty unpleasant unwilling-to-assit if he doesnt care about your problem owner. I will NEVER shop there again and plan to tell as many bikers as possible about my ugly experience interacting with that man. Notice how the staff walks on eggshells around him and the barked corrections spewed out by him? Awful, apalling, degrading, and backward.

Before purchasing I studied the website of many of my targeted bikes. Outdoor Adventures allowed me to test ride all the bikes that I had narrowed down on my list on local trails. They worked with me to get the bike I wanted at the price that I could afford. Specifically, they helped me select the bike that matched my skills to the riding conditions in Las Cruces.

This place is one of Las Cruces gems. Always friendly and happy to help. It doesnt matter if you are a pro racer, a homeless fellow on a bike,or a weekend warrior they treat you with the same respect. Theyll never push something on you that doesnt fit what your need. So happy to have OA in town. Thanks to you all for just your general awesomeness.

This by far is the worst bicycle shop i have ever seen , the staff DO NOT know their parts and customer service is lousy , selection sucks and parts are often incomplete when sold to customers. i ask for a simple 26 inch 1 speed wheel and the fool sells me a 24 inch then charges extra for the sprocket ...RIP OFF!!! I D I O T BUSINESS!!! STEER CLEAR

I called before I went to purchase some rock climbing gear, they were out of stock and saved me a drive from El Paso to Las Cruces. When they were in stock they let me know and walked right it and found everything easy. Great staff, laid back and really know their stuff when it comes to the products they sell.

The guys here know their bikes. Theyre focused on what you need, not getting you to spend more money. I brought in a problem rim, and they looked at it for free and gave me some pointers. Theyve also sold me tools and explained how to do the repairs myself. For students, the 10% discount is handy.
