I bought my Nissan Sentra here about a year ago and I couldnt be happier! The sales team was awesome and I really really like my car. I have several complaints but they are all about the service department. It began when I bought my car, it was very dirty. I originally bought it at night so it was hard to see the interior and exterior but I assumed because it was a new car at the dealership that it would be clean, I was wrong. The roof inside the car has stains all over it as if someone had opened a can of coke and it exploded, the back of the car has sticker residue left on the bumper, and the seats were stained. I dont blame this on the sales team, but on the people responsible for cleaning the car which would be the service department. I let that go and moved on ( even thought my roof is still stained and wont come out and the sticker residue wont come off). Fast forward to now, a year later, and Ive been maintaining my car service at Nissan. The service department is very lack luster and surprise, lol, very expensive. Ive previously had the unfortunate experience of having Omar as my service team member. He is absolutely the worst. Hes very rude, very short, speaks to me like Im stupid, and very presumptuous. The first time I had to deal with him, I had just got my car and three months later got an oil change. He told me I needed a new cabin filter... which was strange because I bought the car with everything inside of it New such as the air filter, cabin filter, etc. So i couldnt understand how after 3 months I would need a new cabin filter? Omar tried to tell me that its a wear and tear and it needs to be replaced. So I tried to explain that he was telling me that this car every three months needs a cabin filter then? Because everything in it is supposed to be new? Weird. I let that go. Fast forward again to a week ago when I had my year service appointment which was my 50,000 mile service. Omar was there once again and when I turned my car in, everything was fine, when I got it back, my car pulled so hard to the right I could barely drive it. I brought it back and Omar tried to tell me it was normal and it was because my tires were different. Okay? Well my tires were different before and it never pulled? And theyve been rotated before and never pulled? He had no explanation and tried to continue to tell me it was because they were different as if I was deaf and didnt hear him the first time and tried to brush me off and did not want to hear what I had to say. He then had me sit there for another 30 minutes to "fix it", and surprise again, it still pulls to the right. Overall, Ill never go back to the service department, and I really hope someone who manages this nissan reads this lengthy report and does something about your extremely Rude and awful employee Omar and how awful the service department is in general.

So me and my husband back in January had an issue with our car not starting so we had it towed to the Nissan dealership. This location since it was down the street and closes to us. We were quoted that it was going to cost $1273 for our car to be fixed. Now thats not something the average working Americans have on hand. The issue we had with our car is very common in nissans, which was the silver electrical box under the steering wheel column that and unfortunately, Honda West (where we got our car from) didnt quite go over this when me and my husband were picking which warranty we should get and what we could afford. Well, we were failed to be informed that electrical issues we not covered in our policy hence now we are responsible for this cause, 1 year LATER! This happens. So we opted to see if we can get approved through the Nissan dealership for another car until we can afford to get this one fixed. While in that process which took 2 days to of trying my husband and I decided this wasnt worth the stress so we told the sales man, Kevin and his financial partner who makes the deals with the banks, that we were no longer interested in trying to get another car. With that being said the paper work we filled out prior trying to get approved from one of banks that salesman Kevin had me post date a check for $500 which was NEVER CANCELED! It posted post dated for FEB 8th. Never canceled nor shredded of any sort. So I wake up this morning and my bank account is -$468.36 ALL thanks to Nissan not canceling our paperwork for what ever reason! I never got a new car from them, no deal was made other than 2 weeks later my husband and I were able to get our original car fixed. All and all this has been a stressful experience with the salesman and his team at this location. The only reason why I am giving them 2 stars is because Frank at the car service desk worked with my husband and helped us with the charges for getting our car fixed. I have NEVER WRITTEN a bad review before but I wanted to let people out there be aware of the salesmen because they say they will help you, but all in all they just want your money! My bank account is now overdrawn with 3 insufficient fund charges for 3 of my bills I paid for yesterday on top of them electronically cashing my check for a car I never got! I DO NOT RECOMMED YOU GO HERE if your looking for a car. Their car service however, was indeed very helpful and genuine to fixing our car.

I bought a 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer from Desert Nissan on 10/11/10, paid $1,000 down, finished all the financing paperwork, and drove off the lot with my new used car. On 10/15/10 I was notified that the financing fell through and was given until 10/18/10 to find my own financing or return the car. The car was overvalued and had too many miles so financing was declined through both Wells Fargo and my home credit union, and as a result I returned the car the same day (Monday, 10/18). I was told that my down payment would be in the mail and should arrive back to me on that Wednesday, 10/20. I received no payment, called the company on Friday, 10/22, and was told they were still looking for the money so I could expect it by that Monday, 10/25. Monday came and went with no check, so I called the dealership on Wednesday, 10/27. I was given the runaround and told Id be given a call back to update me on the situation. I was told a couple of days, yet again, and I called the general manager, Joe Treola, on Friday, 10/29, when the check didnt show. Joe said he had the check in his hands and would personally mail it out the same day. I gave it until today, 11/3/2010, and stopped back up at the dealership when no money arrived. Beth, a sales manager, gave me a certified mail "receipt," which I then took to the post office to check on it. The post office didnt have any records of anything being sent in reference to the receipt, and surprise, Id been lied to yet again by the crooks at Desert Nissan. I still dont have my money and Ive been lied to EVERY TIME Ive talked to them. Bottom line: Take your money somewhere reputable and avoid this s%&^hole of a dealership. This is basically the same complaint I just filed with the Better Business Bureau. Go to hell, Desert Nissan. Fun side note: About a week ago, I was told that my salesman was fired due to the missing $1,000. Guess who I saw working when I went back up there today? Honestly, I dont care if Tim got fired or not, I just want my down payment refunded. Its just one more instance of me getting lied to by this crooked company. On to notifying the attorney generals office. Good freakin luck if you decide to buy anything from these scam artists.
