This is my first Hyundai purchase and I am so happy that I purchased it from Hyundai of La Quinta. I first started out at Palm Springs Hyundai and what a mistake that was.... The salesman was nice but it was one of the other sales staff that made me walk out right away. He made a very unprofessional comment about somebody they were dealing with about a new car purchase. I wont get into details but it offended me enough that I walked right out. That lead me over to hyundai of La Quinta. I had worked in car dealerships for about 15 years and have seen everything in the car business. This dealership was the very best of what I remember from my experiences. Every part of my experience at Hyundai of La Quinta was awesome. I dealt with Donald in sales and he has to be one of the best salesmen I have ever dealt with. He is a true professional. There was no pressure and made me feel very comfortable through the whole purchasing process. He took me around and introduced me to all the staff. The final thing that made me feel at home was when Don introduced me to the owner and I met his dog that he brings to work with him. That really showed me that this dealership was the real deal and they are genuine people. In fact every employee I met were friendly and courteous. I almost always have buyers remorse but this is the first purchase for as long as I can remember that I did not. Don gave me a great deal on my 2017 Santa Fe and I could not be happier. I left the dealership today with no regrets and only praise for everyone that I dealt with today. I bought an awesome car met some great people and found a great new place to buy my next car. What I can tell you if you go anywhere else you will be wasting your time. This should be your first and last place you go to for your next car purchase. It was so refreshing to go to a dealership that was not your stereotypical high pressure sales staff. Nowadays people are so quick to post negatives about their experiences but I believe when a business goes out of the way to make your experience a positive one then it deserves to be noted. Thank You to Donald and all of the staff at Hyundai of La Quinta for making my purchase a positive experience. Please give them a chance to earn your business on your next car purchase. Tom R.

I wish i could give these people a negative review, iam a disabled war veteran and dont have much money as it is and i pulled enough money together for a down payment not even 2 months ago i purchased a used car from them and they supposedly did and inspection and put four new tires but i beg the differ because the next day after i drove it off the lot the cd player didnt even work it ate my cd and they then not even having the car a month i got a flat tire and i was out of town and had a towed truck come to fix it but guess what they didnt put the lock for the lug nut in the car and i had to have the taken to a shop to have them get it off which cost me about 200 dollars. But it doesnt stop there after that the car wouldnt start at first then it would the second time i tried a couple times then it just died wouldnt start and they couldnt come get it they told me i had to pay to have it towed to them or jump start it, thank goodness i knew how to do that and they said the battery was dead but that wasnt caught in there so called inspection. well not even a week after that i noticed an oil leak and a burning oil smell so i called them and made an appointment i get there and give them this list of oil burning smell, oil leak, uneven wear on a tire brakes making noise and of course the cd player not working well two days later i get a call saying that the oil burning smell is a build up on the undercarriage and there is no oil leak, brakes are good and tires are good, i dont buy the no oil leak and the burning oil smell but the thing that takes the cake is the i have to pay to have the cd player to be fix when it didnt even work when i bought it. who carries a cd around with them when they go to buy a car.

I just recently tried buying a car from this location, they worked out a killer deal on a vehicle last night and made it seem like an amazing deal, customer service was not apparent for the 30 minutes i walked around the lot, then when greeted it all seemed amazing. first they tried to lowball me and i about walked off the lot, then i got to chat with the manager of the location and thats when he gave me an amazing deal that i couldnt beat, had it in writing that id have the deal no questions asked. good to go right? nope... they had horrible customer service next day, rolling eyes, being sarcastic, walking all over my family and i. it took me nearly having to cuss them out to even get a car that was even near what they told me i could get. but it all ended up in failure.. theyre disrespectful, liars, and have no integrity, if you want good service and get the car for the money you have and for great customer service, go right across the street to Torre Nissan. Dont waste your time with these people.

At first the dealership wasnt bad. It is very clean and the salesmen are friendly to talk with. My problem was with the finance team. First, as I was signing the paperwork, the dealership took it upon themselves to transfer over everything rom the old car to the new car. I have a personalized plate, which they screwed onto the new car and put their blue dealership plate over. They never replaced my plate cover from the old car onto the new car. In the hussle of everything, I didnt notice until I go home. I called the next day and they told me theyd look for it and hold it. THEY THREW IT AWAY and tried to lie about it. Next, the finance team couldnt manage to get my loan situated until 4 weeks later! Then, I start recieving notices from the DMV stating that they never recieved the notice of transfer paperwork from the dealership and that I am responsible for the registration that was due after I traded in the car. Need less to say- I WILL NOT be returning to Hyundai of La Quinta POOR MANAGEMENT

Hyundai La Quinta ordered floor cleaning solution from our business in March 2014 and we did not have any problems. In January 2015, they placed another order for the same products and are now refusing to pay for what they ordered. We shipped the products via UPS and have documents showing when/where they were delivered and the employee who signed for them. We have tried contacting Hyundai several times but the calls have fallen upon deaf ears. The employees are rude and very unprofessional. We are not even given the opportunity to discuss or resolve the situation with them, we are cut off and told, “That’s right, we declined the charge.” Needless to say, we will not be doing business with Hyundai La Quinta anymore and you might want to think twice before you do.
