Any business that youre spending nearly $2,000 with that tells you that you can leave and go back to where you came from should be avoided. So avoid this business and find another bike shop! Their management is very unprofessional and I will not be returning. Please find another powersports/bicycle dealer who will treat you with respect. Based on my experience, I do not think that they will handle ANY issues with a sale with any concern and will probably tell you to "drive back" to where you came from. Drove from Ohio to Michigan to purchase a tandem bicycle as our local dealers in my area did not stock the bicycle I wanted. I found their information on a Craigslist advertisement and decided to drive up yesterday (6/3) to see their showroom and purchase a bicycle. When I arrived, the young man behind the counter showed me the bicycle and said that it was "setup and ready to go". The tires had dirt and gravel in them like it had been ridden in the parking lot, it was covered in dust, the valve stems were missing their covers and the handlebars were not adjusted properly in line with the front tire. The young man adjusted the handlebars and seat for me to test. I believe he tried his best to help us out with getting the bike back to where it should be. Then, after purchasing the bike, I noticed that the manual wasnt with the bike and had to return to the store. Somewhat disorganized but a good experience with this young man. Here is where I had issues: when I was finalizing the sale, I had an issue with a tax question as this was to be a tax-exempt sale. I presented my tax exemption forms to the young man who told me that he had to talk to his manager. He went back to discuss the situation with the manager and came back to tell me "the manager said no". I asked if I would be able to speak to the manager. The young man returned to his manager, then quickly came back and said "the manager said no, we dont honor those". I asked the young man to point out who the manager was, which he did, then I went to talk to the manager myself. I asked the manager about the sales tax issue and the manager became defensive regarding the issue. He was very unpleasant and it was apparent that he did not want to talk to me as he became angrier talking to me and initially had refused to come to the counter to talk to me. I asked for an explanation on why they would not honor the tax exemption form. Rather than give me a simple explanation, he blew up at me and told me "if you dont want the bike, you can get your money back and get in your truck and go back to Ohio". Being in business over 35 years myself, I have had many issues where I (as the manager) have had to discuss policies/issues with customers. The manager refused to step away from his desk for 30 seconds to explain the situation. I still purchased the bicycle because I needed it, but this managers behavior was highly unprofessional and I will not return to this business. If hes not the owner, his conduct should be reprimanded. If he is the owner, I dont know how hes been in business this long.

Please heed the warnings of everyone else! I read the reviews and ignored them. I thoroughly regret ever seeing this place. Came from 3 hours away to buy a used 2007 Kawi. Absolutely no customer service. I had previously asked them to do the paperwork in someone elses name, but Jim ignored that and just did it in my name anyways (They charge a 200 dollar paperwork fee FTR). Jim pulled the bike around front, took my check and said you should go fill up across the street (I paid like 200 dollars for a bike service fee also BTW). I had also asked them to fix the clutch lever that was extremely stiff 5 days ahead of time. They didnt touch it. Left on the bike, got 65 miles, hit a bump on RT 23 and BOTH BATTERY TERMINALS SHEERED OFF. They were so corroded they literally just broke off on the highway leaving me and my escort stranded for 3 hours. The bike of course didnt have the factory toolkit, because that would make sense coming from here. The seat thankfully wasnt installed properly so I was able to rotate it and access the battery without tools. I also found out the horn doesnt work at this point, so they let me drive illegally. (Yes, I checked the lights and brakes before I left!) Luckily an Autozone was 4 miles away with a battery that barely fit. Got another 100 miles (after filling up a second time) and it ran out of gas and had SERIOUS CARB ISSUES. It would sputter and not accelerate and I was literally Sammy Hagar for the last 40 miles (I cant drive 55). Sorry Raquel and Justin, I should have listened to your reviews, but I was naïve and really wanted THAT motorcycle... Not worth it. How they are still in business is beyond me, the worst reviews written are nice compared to Jim. At least they are truthful and accurate without being rude.

Not sure why all the bad reviews here unless those leaving them are just really uneducated about life. In the market for a higher miles used harley I stumbled across them. Stopped in with no intention of buying a bike that day, just checking out their inventory. Pretty accurate to their online listings. A 2005 harley stuck out to me. I decided to see where financing would be. (11 years old dont forget) a brand new harley landed me at 6% apr. I have middle of the road credit. Certainly not top tier. They DID request all of my down payment prior to financing which I wasnt comfortable with but they took substantially less so that was good. It was late and I was told they would process with the bank in the morning, completely understandable. They said they would have an answer by 1, and they called me at 10 am with 4.2% financing on an 11 year old used machine. Thats better than I got on my brand new truck. I did put a good amount of money down but were not talking about 7 or 8 thousand here. Just a REASONABLE amount to convince a bank youre low risk. They did a great job, waited for me to show up on a Friday evening a bit past closing thanks to the traffic on 96 in novi. Were more than helpful, friendly, and had EXACTLY what I was looking for. This may not be the everything powersports store, but I really suggest checking them out, even if you just need an accessory or something. The owner took a minute to chat with me before leaving your deliver a 4 wheeler all the way to Grand Rapids, and I told him the negative reviews here had made me hesitant but I wanted to know for myself. Im glad I didnt go based on the opinion of a few. Dont let the bad reviews steer you away, its worth the visit.

The worst shopping experience I have ever had!!! I went to Howell Cycle on Saturday to buy a new bike for myself. I roamed the store and no one asked me if I need help, so I finally asked someone if I could get help. I was told that the sales person was busy, but i could look at bikes and then they will give me a good deal. 10-15 minutes later sales person had a second and tried to help. Showed me few bikes and when I asked if I can test drive them, he said: "sure", but didnt take it outside for me, nor held the door open. On top of that, they had a motorcycle right in front of the door, so it was challenging to get bike in and out, so when I was coming back with the bike, door slammed into it and scratched it (at least that is what the sales guy said). His demeanor was rude, blaming and overall hostile. When I told him that I do not want that bike, he told me to get out and also said: "Thanks for wasting my time a..hole". I would not recommend anyone go there for anything. At first I was going to contact the owner, but based on some testimonials I figured it will be useless, it is the culture of the company.
