Going to Michaels always feels like kind of a scam considering they are overpriced and have a very shoddy selection of real fine art supplies. But alas... I have no other options unless I want to take a 30 minute drive, and waiting for an online order isnt always an option as a work-from-home artist. Also, the employees know little about the products they sell and their various applications. EVERY TIME Im in the store I end up escorting people around and helping them find what they need. And there have even been a few times I have had to step in and correct advice that an employee is giving to a newb crafter. Like suggesting a water-based sealant to finish a coffee table top. Ugh.

Great item selection. Some sales throughout on certain items. Wouldve rated higher if the line hadnt been so long. Only 3 cashiers working on a Saturday. Not the best move Michaels.

This store is always clean and well stocked, and the sales are amazing. Sometimes it can be difficult to find help, but overall its a good place to shop.

Not as good as the Florence store in terms of layout and staff friendliness. Shares a parking lot with a Target and a Kroger; very crowded.
