Bad, bad Michaels. I just wanted a nice frame for a canvas painting. I went to the back for help from the framing dept. I wanted one I could just buy and take today, good quality but fairly plain. I was willing to pay for it, not settle for something subpar. I told her I wanted wood. Not much choice, ended up getting black. I asked her, is this wood (it didnt look like wood)? She said it was but didnt really examine it. When I got home and removed the cardboard protectors from the corners it was badly damaged and obviously not wood, with bad scratches all over. I ended up repairing with a Sharpee. The frame was so cheap it disintegrated as I was repairing it. Very bad Michaels. Know what you need, dont ask for help, they dont have a clue. I got the impression the lady didnt care at all. I dont live near here and need the frame for my new office this week, so exchanging doesnt work, I am stuck with it.

I came to the Florence store on 8.1.16 to shop for my wedding in October. The lady at the register was fabulous!! I didnt catch her name, and its not on the receipt, but she had some blue in her hair. My phone died, so I didnt have my rewards number or coupon. She was very sweet and gave me a few coupons. Saved me $45!! She carried on a great conversation, and made my day. I wish there was more I could do to thank her!

What I cant find a Jo-Ann Fabrics in the way of crafting items I can find at Michaels. They also email coupons so it is definitely worth signing up to their website even if you shop occasionally. Is also located next to Half Price Books Guitar Center and Babies R Us which is convenient because I shop at all those places too.

I come every so often to replenish ink pens and look for new sketchbooks, and get some canvas or find new things to make different types of art, and Michaels always haves what I am looking for, and not one time has anyone been mean, angry, or even seemed In a bad mood. Everyone seems like they actually want to be there. (:

They have everything you could possibly need for crafting projects! They also offer a lot for DIY projects and decorations for your home. They always have coupons online so sign up for the email list. The staff here ate also super friendly and helpful. Its my favorite Michaels!

This Michaels location is pretty small, and I found their selection of yarn to be laid out oddly. They also seemed to have less yarn than I am used to seeing at a Michaels. The cashiers were friendly and I didnt have to wait in line long.
