Great gear with great staff. Tell them what you are doing, and they will point you in the best direction. No cheap stuff to be found here. If you want Wal-Mart, then go there. They helped with raingear, footwear, backpacks, sleeping gear, and other items for a backpacking trip. All the gear was first rate. The sales person even suggested looking online for a few specific items that they did not handle in the store. One of the crew had a problem with some hiking boots, they took them back no questions asked and gave him a new pair. Excellent.

Great quality clothing. It is a boutique outdoor clothing store with four levels of clothes and equipment. Downstairs has a lot of school and hiking backpacks and camping equipment. I bought a waterproof bag for my laptop. They have a whole floor for Patagonia stuff. Also have Arcteryx and some fresh casual clothing companies.

Great service and assistance. Very willing to help with packing lists, figuring out what you need for a trip, and plenty of travel and adventure tips. Awesome local shop downtown Iowa City, 5 floors to explore, and great friendly staff. Will definitely be back.

I have gotten running shoes and climbing gear here. Great service and some good deals. If you climb at the rec, they offer 10% off of climbing gear. Nice. Clearance shoes are also great. Very knowledgeable staff.
