I like the fact that I was able to go online at 7am and order flowers to be delivered the same day. I picked this location because it had a 4.9 in reviews and it was 5min drive away from where I wanted the flowers delivered. When I called them to check if they were delivered they were very helpful in finding out and providing the information. The issue comes when I see the flowers... I spent $114! The flowers are pretty... but the arrangement came with only two pink roses, eight orange roses, twenty small yellow roses, and a ton and these huge green things that made the arrangement look bigger. The person who received the flowers hated the green things, took them out, and the bouquet of roses didnt look anything different than what I could have picked up from Jewel. I could have spent $40 for a huge bouquet and a vase from a store and it would have looked just the same. I was left disappointed and feeling like I wouldnt order flowers for delivery from any shop ever again.

Well, I chose this online flower delivery company because of the number of stars it received. Unfortunately, this company has left a bad taste in my mouth due to the fact that my moms Mothers Day flowers might be given "to the neighbor." Which is what they told me in reference to what they would do with her flowers if she was not home to receive them! I paid $15 dollars in delievery and over $50 dollars for a bouquet of flowers for them to tell me they have no idea when the flowers would arrive and if they did arrive and she wasnt home, that they would give them to a neighbor. Im good with this company. Ive used flower delivery companies for and ordered with same day delivery and have received faster service. Addtionally, since they are Mothers Day flowers the guy on the phone could have been a bit more apologetic an understanding. (customer service--GOOD customer service goes a long way!) Anyway, hopefully her flowers arrive before she departs.

I am so proud of my daughter, she ran in the Chicago Marathon today. She is staying at the Four Seasons Hotel. I wanted to send her Congratulation Flowers, that she could enjoy in her room for the remainder of her visit, so I called the Concierge Desk at her hotel and they referred me to Marcel Florist. The Man at the shop told me that they work with all of the Chicago hotels. I was thrilled. After I explained that I could picture what I wanted to send, but did not know how to put my picture into flower terms, the young man began describing exactly what I was talking about. My daughter returned to her room and the flowers had been placed in the room. She was so excited she immediately called me and thanked me. She said the flowers were absolutely spectacular. She talked about the race with me for nearly an hour. Thanks Marcel Florist for making my daughters drab hotel room, look brilliant.

I have been purchasing flower arrangements from Marcel Florist since 2006. I found them online when I was looking for a florist close to Prentice Womans Hospital (Northwestern Memorial Hospital), to send flowers to my neice, when she had just had her first child. Since then, they are my go to Chicago Florist. I have sent my Chicago friends Birthday Flowers, Get Well and Anniversary Flowers. I use Marcel Florist to send my Chicago business associates Flowers, Plants, and Gift Baskets. I have sent my husband Valentines Day Arrangements. I usually order online and have found their website to be easy to use. I like that they are located downtown, I often wait until the last minute to order, and they deliver the same day, if that is what i want. When I do call them, they are always friendly. I can highly recommend them to anyone.

I have used Marcel Florist for several years now. I entertain frequetly at my home, and they help me out with all things floral. I usually do a large arrangement in my foyer, and it is always spectacular. I usually do something Hotel lobby like, and it is always shaped perfectly. We decorate extensively for the holidays, and the staff knows the drill. We light outdoor trees, have 2 12 tall Christmas Trees, lit and decorated, and hang wreaths, garland and bows throughout our home. When we first built our home, they designed and installed the green plants throughout our home, and worked with my Interior Designer to get the look I wanted. I can recommend them to anyone for all things floral.

I work for a Law Firm based in Toronto Canada. We had a project with a Chicago Law Firm. Upon completion of our project, our team members from Toronto visited Chicago for a true Chicago Experience. We wanted to give each member a Chicago Gift Basket. Our hotel recommended Marcel Florist to supply us with the Baskets. The baskets had Garrets Popcorn, Frango Mints, a Cubs baseball Cap, other cubs items, and other fun Chicago Stuff. We had over 200 baskets delivered to the hotel. Everything went great! We communicated via email, and telephone when necessary. The baskets were great! Thank you Marcel Florist.

I needed flowers to be delivered the same day... I found Marcel Florist and gave them a try. They offered plenty of same day delivery flower choices and the ordering could not have been easier. I got an email and a text alerting me that the flowers had been delivered (relatively early in the day, as I had requested!). The prices were reasonable and the flowers were beautiful (I got to see them that day with the person I had them delivered to). The flowers were exactly as pictured and I was delighted by the whole experience. Ill definitely use Marcel Florist again!

I fully discussed with the florist on the phone pink and white roses, blue and pink stock, fragrant lilies and small green hydrangea. When my recipient sent me a photo I was shocked to see orange daylilies, maroon & dark purple stock, orange roses. If those colors if they were even mentioned, I would never have ordered the arrangement! I have never given a bad review ever! But this is unbelievably, diametrically, opposed to what we discussed for a $100.00+ arrangement. #baitandswitch. Im giving 2 stars because in the end, flowers were delivered.

Marcel Florist has the best selection and quality of any florist that I have experienced in the Chicago area. If you are looking for a florist who knows how to create beautiful, eye-catching arrangements, then this is the place. The people here have always been super friendly on the phone and their knowledge is unsurpassed. So, if you are unsure of what you want to order, but you know you want something special, then leave it to them. The staff that has assisted me many times in the past (Rick and "Mike") are divine.

I have been using Marcel Florist for about 5 years now. I recently ordered my Thanksgiving Day Centerpiece from them. It was beautiful and festive, as always. I prefer to order online, and their website is very easy to use, no hiccups. The delivery driver is always nice and courteous. I usually order a Designers Choice, and let them have at it. It seems like I get more bang for my buck when I do. The staff are always kind when I call, and very helpful.
