Let me start my review by saying, I am very focussed on details, customer service, and communication with clients throughout a purchasing process. With that said, I really dont know how people can negatively review NBF. It seems more like these reviewers have unrealistic expectations for how far their dollar should go in the Chicago Market. At first I was skeptical of Jan and Jillian (If e are being completely honest). They seemed too young to hae much experience. But my initial skepticism was quickly extinguished. They have both worked in the floral industry since they were like toddlers. They both have Masters in Family Therapy (not the exact degree, but I cant remember it). They are very confident and eager to understand each individuals unique personality and image for her wedding day. Compared to other florists that I met with, the girls were actually affordable. And their deposit request isnt ridiculous, like some other florists who want 50% deposit up front. The day of the wedding I of course had a million things on my mind, and fortunately, worrying about bouqets and centerpeies wasnt on my list of things to worry about. the girls delivered everything on time and better than expected. They are so sweet and personable while maintaining a professional demeanor. I seriously can not think of one negative thing to say about my experience with them. They even wanted to set up a walk thru at our venue ahead of time to meet the caterer and get a better idea of the atmosphere of the building! Very profesional and detail oriented ( i loved it). All and All, brides need to be realistic about how far your $ will go in the Chicago Market...Im sure your random cousins wedding in Peoria was amazing and cost a fifth of what you are finding in Chicago...but there is a reason for that. Dont take it out on the vendors or florists, they have to pay their bills too and it doesnt make sense for them to 1. take a job that wont cover their expenses 2. lie to your face and promise a garden of eden when your budget wont allow for it. Bottom Line: NFB was probably one of the best experiences I had while planning my wedding and I hope that I can find more event int he future to utilize their talents!

I got married on August 7, and Jan and Jillian from Natural Beauties were the best from the start. They are both very professional, and want to make your wedding vision come through. I was working on a budget, and they were more than willing to work with me. They offered great suggestions on which flowers will give me the look I want but wont break the bank. They didnt try to upsell me or anything, which I really appreciated. I started planning months in advance before I really knew what I wanted, and they were so patient and helpful as a changed my mind a few times. Thats what brides do! And, the day of, they arrived at my house with the girls flowers right on time. All of the flowers were beautiful and just what we had discussed. They knew exactly what I wanted! And, the reception flowers blew me away. I let them take the lead on the cocktail centerpiece and it was striking. All of the guests were commenting on how beautiful it was. The reception centerpieces were equally perfect. They were exactly what Id asked for and matched my vision. That is Jan and Jillians work. They want your wedding to look exactly like you envision it, and they deliver. In addition, I received so many compliments about how gorgeous the flowers were, No one wouldve guessed how tight our budget was, because Jan and Jillian made everything, big or small, beautiful. Also, they can work to give you ideas as well. My mother-in-law used them for the rehearsal dinner flowers, and she was really open. They put together centerpieces that looked beautiful in the room and that we actually used again for the wedding reception cocktail hour. It was perfect, because the flower had a completely different vibe than the reception flowers, so the two events were kept separate. However, the flowers blended naturally at the cocktail reception. One more perfect thing that they did was give me the best suggestion for my seating cards. I had an idea of what I wanted to do, but their suggestion of using hot pink votive candle holders as seating cards made my reception. If it wasnt for them, my reception just wouldnt have been as lovely. I highly recomend using Jan and Jillian!!

I used Natural Beauties Floral for my October 2013 wedding. After a trusted friend referred me to NBF, I met with Jan and Jillian and completed their intake survey. Even while I had trouble articulating my style, NBF was able to identify my floral “personality” – romantic. Their proposal reflected this style and included flowers that I had requested as well as other flowers that I knew would fit into our vision. What they proposed was head and shoulders above any of the other florists I contacted (in regard to creativity, thoroughness and budget). After seeing this, and meeting with the girls, I knew they would do an incredible job. Part of my vision was using my own vases – an eclectic mix of sizes and shapes. They were more than happy to accommodate this and I even met with Jillian prior to the wedding to make sure everything was in order. NBF also were more than happy to tweak and revise the proposal, which they did several times. The actual arrangements and bouquets were better than I had imagined. Just absolutely stunning. They have such a way with flowers – using textures, colors and scale to create art with the florals. Jan and Jillian were nothing but professional during the planning process. I trusted them entirely to put to life the vision and style of our wedding and they knocked it out of the park. They know what they’re doing, they love doing it and it shows in their work. That’s the type of vendor every bride should want to work with.

Both my husband and I were in awe of the stunning job the Natural Beauties did desiging our wedding at the Modern Wing of the Art Institue. We had a very loose vision of what we wanted (unusual garden like flowers) and they were able to refine it for us in their proposal and then bring it to life on our wedding day. Even weeks later people (other than us!) are still talking about how spectaular and different the florals were from the show stopping birch chuppah to the flower crown for our precious flower girl. Jillian and Jan did not miss a detail. Leading up to our wedding they were alway responsive and patient with any questions we had along the way (we had tons because our venue had lots of restrictions) and were flexible to make any changes when we changed our mind about certain things. They also had about an hour to set up our ceremony, cocktail and dinner area due to schedule restrictions at our venue and everything was completed on time to perfection which totally blew us away! Coming up with a spectacular design is one thing but executing it flawlessly is a whole other thing. We truly could not have been more pleased. Jan and Jillian are not only insanely talented at what they do, they are total professionals, fun to work with and amazing business women which makes them the total package in my opinion!

I have nothing but positive things to say about Natural Beauties Floral! It was such a pleasure to work with Jillian and Jan as they were both extremely professional, organized, timely, creative, and worked within the given budget. Throughout the planning process, Jillian and Jan were responsive to phone calls and emails, were quick to make note of any changes, and incorporated additional designs upon request. They worked with our reception venue and other vendors to make sure the day of logistics were smooth and streamlined. I had absolutely no worries before hand or the day of in regards to our flowers. I was so blown away with the final product! Our arrangements included three centerpiece designs throughout the reception hall along with various candles. We received numerous compliments from our guests the evening of our wedding- even today we have guests raving about our flowers! Jillian and Jan really took the time and effort to make this day so personal and perfect for us and the final product showed that. I highly recommend Natural Beauties Floral to any and all brides. I hope to work with them in the future for other events or even just personal flowers at home!
