we were called several times about an early trade in for the Black Friday sales and decided to see what they were offering. We worked with the salesman, Marvin who helped us decide to trade in the the 2014 and settled on the 2017 Sonata. SInce it was late on Saturday, we came back on Monday to sign on the proverbial dotted line. Arrived at the dealership at 5p and in the short time it took for the salesman to finish our end of the deal, we waited another 1:45 for the finance guy. Not once in the time that we were finished with Marvin did anyone offer us an explanation for why we were still waiting. We actually joked with Marvin that the 2018s would be in the dealership before we got to the finance guy. There was only one family with the finance guy and it took forever before they were finished. We walked around and around and around the dealership and not once did someone try to approach us to ask what we needed help with... When we noticed the family leaving the finance office, my husband approached him and asked him if was ready for us. He said he didnt know that we were waiting and then proceeded to tell my husband that he didnt have any paperwork for us, which we knew was a lie. When we finally got into the office he looked at me and said for someone who just purchased a new car I was the most miserable person he has ever met.. really? I had been up since 4p, worked all day, no lunch and then I had to hang around the dealership and no one so much as offered a cup of water, an explanation..nothing. When I said all i wanted to do was sign on the dotted line before the 2018s came in, he said i had a poor attitude and that I shouldnt take my frustrations out on the finance guy and that this was an issue for the manager and proceeded to call him. Then when we said we would speak to him on the way out, again said we had a poor attitude, picked up our documents and said he wasnt going to proceed with the deal. After walking us to the managers office the manager wanted to know what the problem with the deal was we told him how the finance guy spoke with us, I said I wanted the plates switched, and no longer wanted the car, did he decide to start some of the paperwork himself. We received some story about being short staffed then stated that the finance guy would finish the deal and looked annoyed that I wouldnt shake his hand... The finance guy was annoyed when we turned down the extra insurance packages that they offer for the car and developed an attitude with us when we said we didnt need it. I understand short staffing issues...but thats not the customers concern. Rather than holding conversations in your office, discussing your sports leagues, an high fiving each other over deals, it would have been nice to acknowledge your customer, let us know what was going on; offer a beverage...something... Just remember there is another Hyundai dealership in BayRidge..... This is our 4th Hyundai and our third from this dealership. With the exception of Marvin, this was the worst customer service Ive ever had. Not even enjoying the new car, because every time I get in, I recall the aggravation and disrespect from the finance guy.... .Service Recovery, Plaza.. .. Service Recovery.

Disgusting place. Brought my care to get fixed. First they did bunch of tests and found nothing, had to leave my car there, no replacement, nothing. I was without car for a while, came back in couple of days. They told me to drive it around with tank filled with super, which i did as long as I could, but the car was not drivable. HELLO, Ive brought it because it will shuts off when Im driving it, how can I make it through two full tanks of gas, when its not working. Had to come back again, they took it from me, no replacement again. Week of silence, one phone call from mechanic saying well figure it out in couple of hours, then nothing for another week. Finally i called someone and they told me to come down for a replacement. Great, at least something new, I couldnt stay without a car for any longer. After an hour of wait and multiple people telling me "Well be right with you", some nameless dude, long oily hair, probably indian origin (can be wrong) Pulled me in that little shack and start his attitude right away. Apparently its my fault what is wrong with it, I put bad gas in it. Wow, give me a list of gas stations where I shouldnt fill out my car, because they have a bad gas. Kept telling me that he has to deal with people like me all the time, who comes there and telling him they did nothing wrong, but it was their fault. Called me a liar because of me telling him that my car never ran out of gas. HELLO Im working in NJ Linden area, have you seen how many gas stations are there, there are so many gas stations its ridiculous. My car never even been with less than half a tank. But according to this person Im lying like everybody else. After my countless: "No, I didnt ran out of gas" and "I put fine gas in the tank", his argument was "Well why it smells like gas inside?" WTF, my snow blowers little one gallon can is none of your concern. Its Rav 4, sometimes people have gas can inside the car, because TRUNK is INSIDE the car. His last argument was: why I didnt drive it for two full tanks of super as I was told. OMG! Car dies on me, it stops working and shuts off on the highway without any warning. Its just dead. How it can be driven. I can give you a dead horse and tell you to ride it from new york to PA. What? You have a problem? Dont lie to me, you can do it. Anyways, Im lying according to this dude. My options were: take the car from them and hope that malfunction will go away, or pay 1k+ for them to fix it, because tests have shown it was my fault it broke. Thanks people, in three weeks, you came up with this. Until the last day tests have shown "nothing wrong" with the car and an hour before I came tests have finally worked. Give me three weeks, computer and your name, ill make you John Lennon on your driver license and that your IQ is 45 Whatever, this place is garbage, will never go there again. Im an Army veteran and never in my life Ive been called a lier before that nameless piece of ... Have a nice day

THIEVES! THIEVES! THIEVES! As of now, this is how Im feeling about this dealership. Presently I am so irate that Im not sure I could write this review, but I will try. Im still trying to figure out whats going on with this dealership! What is so hard about running an honest business? Treating people with respect? Doing the right thing? Especially when it comes to protecting the reputation of your business! My husband and I went in to this dealership to get a car (used), we were told by one salesman that my credit was not good enough and so they tried my husbands and said his isnt good either, but he is more likely to get the car, so wed use his name. Transaction began...the salesman had us fill out the necessary forms, asked that we place at least $1000 down (for which he swiped my business card), "so that they can hold the car for me"! He said since we didnt have the necessary credit, we would have to deposit $5000 on the deal (he actually said he had to pull some strings to get that for us!) I was a bit hesitant, but I allowed it and we proceeded to leave to return the next day to complete the transaction. When I returned the next day, I was told that the car was sold by another salesman who made a mistake! To make a long story short, I have dealt with two other salesmen trying to finalize this transaction, but to no avail!!! The last salesman I dealt with, even brought the Finance Manager to us to speak to us as to what they can and cannot offer! I have asked each and every one of those salesmen to credit my card the $1000 that they STOLE from me, and I have yet to receive it! Its been two weeks! These people have been stringing us along, pretending to be working on getting us the car we need and refusing to credit me my $1000!!! I hate to write bad reviews, as I am a business owner myself, but I do everything in my power to make my customers happy, and if by any chance theyre not, I do all in my power to fix it...our job isnt done until the customer is smiling! What is wrong with this dealership? Im sure some people have had a smooth experience with those people, but I certainly did not! What do I have to do to get my money back...show up with Help me Howard and his cameras??? I do not want a car from those people any more, I came in with my "bad credit" , I will leave with it, and all I want is my money back! With a review this long, trust me I didnt write half the story here! The lies and trick! If we are not eligible for the car, why not just tell us that, why take our money and pretend to be working on getting us the car and promising to credit our money, even confirming that it will be there in 2 business days and we have yet to receive it! ITS BEEN TWO WEEKS!!! Im so sorry I had to leave one star! I couldnt publish this review with out giving at least one star!
