We gave these ratings because of Gene! He was terrific. We have been Volvo owners for many years who were generally happy with their 2004 XC70 and 2005 S80 cars. Until, they both hit around 100K miles and both transmissions started slipping. My wife and I found it ironic that both would have problems with their transmissions at about the same mileage and being driven by two different drivers with different driving styles who made sure the cars were maintained well. We werent happy because we believed Volvos to be dependable and had a reputation for long lasting and safe vehicles, To be honest we had our trepidations about purchasing or leasing another one. But "safety" out weighted everything else, especially for my daughters first car. Anyway leasing a XC60 is our way of testing he waters again. Granted we dont expect to hit 100K miles in three years. But well see how it goes. Regarding Gene; he did an outstanding job in convincing me and my wife Volvo was the way to go. He was honest and earnest with his recommendations, did not pressure us into options or models we felt wasnt right and made sure whatever dealer or factory discounts we could take advantage of was given us. During the pricing discussions he took his time, ran through several options with different models in inventory and generally made sure that we were comfortable with the final arrangements and price. When delivering the car he took a full 45 minutes to explain all the options to my daughter, kept emphasizing the safety features. A true professional.

We returned our previous 5-year lease of a then 2011 S60 to Volvo Cars White Plains last January and signed a contract for a new, 2016 S60. One year later, I hit a massive pothole and my front right tire pops. I call Volvo Roadside Assistance who sends a truck within 45 minutes to help me put on my spare--only there is no spare. Upon calling Volvo Roadside to complain, I learn that while we were in our prior lease, Volvo policy changed and spare tires no longer came with the S60 model. Our sales representative at Volvo Cars White Plains NEVER told us this. Long story short--and after a five hour back-and-forth with Volvo Roadside Assistance that culminated in my getting left, alone, in an unfamiliar neighborhood in upper Manhattan--Volvo Customer Care agrees to cover the $200 cost of my tire replacement, but only 30% of what it would cost to place a spare tire in our trunk. So disheartening. This from a company that values "safety" above all else. We were loyal customers for 13 years but after this, will never consider owning a Volvo again.

I had a great experience at Volvo White Plains. It all started with an advertisement of really good offers that were on at this dealership on 2017 S60. However, I had booked a Mazda already and was not sure if I could go for a Volvo or not. I had a chat with support on the website and then got a call from Marco within the hour. I explained him where I was at in terms of Mazda and he asked me to come by and see if he could offer me something that I couldnt resist. Fast forward into the day, I was in the dealership with an offer I was comfortable with. Within an hour everything was done swiftly including all the approvals and today I got my new S60. Had a nice interaction with other staff members too including Dimitri who explained all the conditions of lease in a very efficient way and cleared all my doubts. Tom was extremely helpful in getting me where I wanted to be in terms of monthly payment and getting in the approval within minutes on request. A new year gift to myself, thanks to everyone at Volvo White Plains!

was very pleased to lease my first Volvo from Big Dee Volvo in Elmsford, New York. Mr. Bosshart went out of his way to provide excellent customer service from the moment I entered the dealership. Not only did I feel that he worked to get me the best price possible for the car I wanted, but he was responsive to all my inquiries both my phone and email. When I picked up my car, Mr. Bosshart was extremely patient and reviewed all of the cars features and technology, many of which were new to me. He even came back to assist me when I had additional questions once we were finished, because I had already forgotton some of the instructions. That kind of patience is rare and was much appreciated! UNACCEPTABLE! Below is not the reply from the sales manager. He accused me of being rude. I pointed out that all Big Dee reviews until 8 months ago were 5 star and very positive. Since then ALL are one star and very critical. They are inefficient and uncourteous, as shown by all reviews NO REPLY! Not even an apology for having called me rude, that is the least I can expect. Will not accept incorrect replies in public venue and be called rude in private, Not acceptable! NO SALES FOLLOW UP, NO INTEREST IN CLIENT,.AFTER BEING A FAITHFUL CLIENT FOR 35 YEARS OF BUYING VOLVO FROM THEM, THEY DIDNT EVEN ADVISE WHEN DESIRED CARS ARRIVED, MANAGER DID NOT EVEN HAVE THE COURTESY OF COMING OUT OF HIS OFFICE TO DEAL WITH CLIENTS OF 35 YEARS, JUST SENT MESSAGES.RUDE! WHAT HAPPENED TO THE DIGNIFIED DEALERSHIP?

My experience with White Plains Volvo is always a good one. The show room is always clean and neat and the receptionist welcomes me with a warm greeting every time I visit. The general manager, Victor Bellavia, along with his staff are wonderful. The business manager, Dimitri was a pleasure to speak with and very informative. Our sales person, Eloy Sanchez was the most thorough sales representative that I have ever purchased a car from and his attention to detail did not go unnoticed. He took the time to show me every detail of my new XC60 and how the features worked. I highly recommend Volvo White Plains to anyone in the market for a new car. You will not be disappointed.

Recently had a flat tire and related issues... 1) Volvo Roadside assistance was great and very timely... and 2) Helene Como at Volvo Cars White Plains, service area, is fantastic in getting the right repairs and ensuring what needs to be done. 3) Jason Adler, who sold me my 2016 XC90 at Volvo Cars White Plains, sales, was very helpful in ensuring all paperwork needed for proper coverage was in order as well as sending updated info to the svce dept. The facility is being renovated and in designing this new facility theres one big flaw- mothers with infants were never taken into consideration, we too take our cars to be serviced and bring our little ones along. There are no changing stations in any of your new bathrooms (mens/womens); I had to change my baby in the middle of the floor in the waiting area and profusely apologized to other customers in the waiting area. I brought my car in for an oil change and brake light repair and they were able to squeeze me in the same day and I waited approximately 2.5 hrs.
