Terrible service from this place that has shown its head after years of being a loyal customer. My family owns a BMW x3 and as been having issues with the AC unit. For roughly five or six years now the car would after a few months of AC use begin blowing semi cool air from the side. For years we took it in and they claimed that the system had nothing wrong after diagnostics. We have consistently asked for a more thorough review of components. Finally this year they told us to bring it back if a noticeable drop in cool air occurs. It happened in two weeks. They stated that a dye test had to be performed to determine where the leak was. So after 5/6 years of consistent freon loss now was the time they decide a dye test is in order. Even after a few Google results point out the obvious deficiency in the AC system and known problems. To me they were either content to said annual check-up reminders to have another chance of putting more freon in and charging us more. I honestly believe since the broken part(evaporator) which they magically found in the period of hours after we left a voice-mail a day after they said they would tell us what was wrong. So in reality it was a an easily diagnosable problem that they refused to look into for years. Their argument that if theres is no freon they cannot locate it a lie as we for 5 of the years the AC unit had partial cool air indicating freon was present in the system at time of drop-off. My research as concluded that because the part is difficult to replace (20-30hrs of work) and their busy schedule, they preferred to knowingly for years place band-aids on a problem, and when it got too serious began to "care". TLDR: Do not trust them. They put band-aids on problems and are only interested in short term customer satisfaction. Update: Took to a mechanic who after putting freon a day before and having it run out told us they would: 1. Refund Labor/Freon costs from the day before. 2. Order the part and charge us $1000 less than BMW for a faster repair.

EDIT: After several phone calls back and forth with multiple people, my headlight issue was finally resolved. After speaking with Mike S, the service manager, he told me to bring my car in so he can look at it. My car went in on Wednesday and was returned to me on Friday with all issues fixed. Absolute worst experience with service. Came in for a transmission repair, which was covered under warranty and fixed but got my car back with my passenger headlight not working. EVERY light in my car was working when I brought it there, no issues at all with my headlights. My service advisor called me to tell me a bulb was missing while my car was there, but I declined repair because I knew nothing was missing and that all my lights were working just the way they should be. Now my headlight is filling with water and theres condensation in it that caused the light to burn out. When I called to discuss this, my service advisor and the service manager both told me that this happens to headlights all the time it rained really hard the day after you picked your car up and that theres been aftermarket touch on my lights, which should not make a difference, the whole point being I brought it in with all headlights working and got it back not working. They also told me it will cost $3000 to repair. Ive been back and forth with them and BMW of North America for 3 weeks and nothing is being resolved. I should have talk to more people before I took my vehicle here, was told by many people that the service center tries to scam people.

A Warm and Welcoming Dealership Last week I went to BMW of Weschester to explore the possibility of either buying or leasing a BMW. I had never been inside the showroom and was a little hesitant since I considered buying a BMW to be a step up from our current Lexus. The receptionist was warm and welcoming and made me feel like I was the most important person to walk into their showroom. When I began looking at some of the prices on their cars, I began to think that maybe I should head to the door, but then the salesman, Henry Lou came up and introduced himself to me and assured me that even BMW has some great cars in my price range. Mr. Lou showed me some different models and took me out for a test drive in a incredibly comfortable car that was a pleasure to maneuver on both the highway and the local streets. While we are not ready to make a decision of whether we will buy buy a BMW, Mr. Lous attention to my needs has certainly made me want to bring my wife back the next time I visit the dealership. If you are considering buying a luxury vehicle, you owe it to yourself to visit BMW of Westchester. You will love the attention you receive and who knows, maybe youll find yourself driving a vehicle that handles like a sports car but has the room for a family of 5!

My wife and I (no children / no pets) leased a 2011 BMW 328xi for 36 months (12k miles/yr) in August 2010 from Ray Catena BMW of Westchester. Drove the car mostly between Westchester county and Philadelphias Navy Yard, all highway miles. The car was returned to dealership in excellent almost brand new condition in Jan 2013, about six months before the end of lease. We did pay off the remaining lease payments to BMW. Car had less than 36k or under allowed miles when returned to dealership. We just received a bill of $1600+ from Ray Catena, here is how it goes...!!! "Notice and Invoice for Excess Wear and Tear" Wear Charges: Interior Damages or Excess Wear $150.00 Exterior Damages or Excess Wear $700.00 Mechanical Problems or Excess Wear $250.00 Other charges: Disposition Fee $350.00 (OK - apparently this is in our lease contract...) Sales/Use Tax $159.45 We are not sure why BMW customer service is so cold when it comes to returning a leased vehicle. At least tell us what exactly these charges relate to! Car we returned was in great condition. Just makes no sense as when the vehicle was returned no one at the dealership made any mention of any POTENTIAL charges. In fact they thanked us and said the car looked fine!

I took my westchester BMW there two months ago telling me I needed a water pump and that a wiring going to the water pump was shorted out they wanted a hour more for diagnosis I said no problem because Im to busy at my job to do it myself . When they told me the price to fix the problem with the wire it come out to almost 3000 dollars anyway to get to the point I took it to my shop I took out the water pump and checked all the wiring and found no problem so installed everything back checked the charging system and the car runs great they are just stealing hours from people that work hard for there money they tell you it more then one thing when all you need is one thing .. and when i tired to explain to the Manager he just push the subject and pushed it away listen I been in the business to long and I have never disrespected or lied to a owner about there car thats not how you make money and keep your customers happy
