I have been to Green on two separate occasions. Once was to purchase a plant for my desk. I wanted something that was low maintenance and still looked great. After Luke showed me around the store with a couple of really great options (with really great advice for each plant) I decided on a Jade plant. I bought that plant about 8 months ago and it is still on my desk and thriving, thanks to the advice I got from Luke when I purchased it. (I have a black thumb, so thats saying something!) I also bought the pot for the plant there too (another recommendation of Lukes). Big kudos there! I stopped in again for an orchid for Mothers day. Who knew such a beautiful flower required such little maintenance? I didnt; but once again, Luke helped me pick out an awesome plant with violet blooms that even my mom has been able to keep alive (and she got her orchid on May 13). Its sprouting new leaves and flowers still too! Again much to the testament of the advice Luke provided when I bought the plant. A woman in his store added some ornamental decoration to the plant - it looks great on my parents coffee table in the living room! If you dont want to overpay, want a quality product and want advice on how to keep the quality product you bought - Green is your place! Theyve definitely made a repeat customer out of me!

I pass this shop everyday on my way home from class and decided to stop by after seeing a man tend to the plants in front of the store. I hadnt gotten the courage to go in before, but after the man saw me browsing from outside and spoke to me immediately about the care for the plants I was looking at, I could tell they put care and pride into what they do. I bought a little baby tears plant, and received great instructions on the way to care for the plant, and how it would grow. I know I am going to return for more.

Some guy named Luke; that i spoke to on the phone, sounded like he was high on drugs, very unprofessional, and when I asked him why he was talking that way he got all puffy. Told me hes the owners son. Good to know the owners son is a moron. Convenient to deliver flowers down town, otherwise would never use this company again. This place needs a lesson on professionalism. Or the kid on the phone needs to be slapped.

For over three decades, this family owned and operated greenhouse has been a one-of-a-kind shopping experience. A fixture of Wells Avenue, Green can best be described as warm, disarming and eccentric. The only problem is that every time I pass by, I want to veer and peer. As the days grow shorter and colder, I take some comfort in knowing that a piece of the tropics is right here in the city.

Ive very much enjoyed living with the polychromed wooden deer head that hangs in my living room (which I have reason to believe is from Myanmar, rather than Indonesia). For someone like me who is not especially enamored of plants, visits to this shop are of interest for the wide variety of Asian and African cultural artifacts that abound. There are always treats in store at Green.

I love this place. Its family owned and is part of the community. Arrangements are a work of art and very affordable compared to any other shop in the area. If you go into the shop, dont expect a highly sterile environment, no, they are artists who are passionate about everything floral. Youll have a really special plant or bouquet when you shop there.

Green is the BEST! Warm, friendly, knowledgeable staff and an amazing selection. I dont live anywhere near Green, but I go out of my way to get flowers and plants here. The place is family-owned, which I love, and Luke (the owners son) is one of the nicest people Ive ever met. They truly value customer service. I highly recommend Green.

The worse experience! Not only did they not create anything near what I ordered they decided to insult me and ask if I was trying to get this service for free. I will Never support this business again. Completely distasteful & disrespectful.

These guys are fantastic – I rarely ever write reviews but Luke who works there, took 15 minutes tonight after The shop was closed to explain how to maintain my plant that they sold me a year ago cant recommend these guys enough

Unusual, beautiful place. Like walking into a jungle, with all sorts of great treasures hidden in with the plants and flowers. I got an amazing, sculptural arrangement done by Luke as a gift. He is really talented!

My wife and I live close to Green. We stop in every now and then either to pick up some flower or some advice (my wife has an innate ability to kill orchids) . They have always been very helpful and information.
