I purchased a piece of furniture from this place and when the men came to deliver it they put 3 holes in my wall and ripped up the couch trying to get it in. I had work and could not be there for the delivery so I had her stay home and accept the delivery. It wouldnt fit so she signed the refusal paper saying it wouldnt fit and to take it back. After that they still tried to force it through thinking they could get it a different way and put the holes in my wall and ripped the couch. On top of that after putting 3 holes in my wall and ripping up my couch they saw small bags of chips and asked if they could have some and also some bottles of water. They are lucky my fiance is a nice lady and that I was not present. They sent a guy out to check the couch which he said it was unrepairable but they keep dodging me about the holes in my wall. Ive called repeatedly only to get "well call you back later today" which they never call back. I finally spoke to a guy who tried to argue with me saying it was our fault and we signed the paper saying they arent reliable. After I told the guy she never signed any paper besides the refusal paper and they still tried to force their way in. Since then he said he was going to "put in order to get the paperwork and call me later" 3 days later no call had been received. I called back and he claims he still hasnt received any paperwork and will "call me back later". Im not holding my breath on this one. I asked if I could just return the couch and be done with these people FOREVER and never come back and they said there would be a restocking fee of 15% of the order and also a pickup charge. They said my other option was to get a new one delivered I then said "why so you guys can put some more holes in my wall" which they responded with "oh well you can get something else smaller in the store". This has been a horrible experience and hopefully it ends soon.

Dont waste your time with this store or the sales people. I have been to the store at least three times and the service is worse each time. If you are looking to be picked up by a salesperson, this is the store for you. My daughter and I laughed as we werent initially sure which of us this salesperson was trying to pick up -- dude we just wanted to buy furniture! If you are looking to make a purchase, go anywhere, run, jump. skip, leave this store as quickly as you can as the service from the snotty young woman at Customer Service to the store manager are totally inept. If you purchase merchandise on their 90 days same as cash program, know that your order may be shown to others, which will include, your name address, the amount of your order and other information as the type of credit that is being offered through Art Van requires you to pay $49.00 and in order to generate the contract, you must pay this fee first. I asked to see the contract prior to my paying the fee and I was shown on at least two different ocassions the actual contract of other purchasers because Art Van claims it cant generate a contract without payment of a fee. I was floored that I saw someone elses actual contract with ALL of their information. That alone gave me reason to pause. As a woman and a minority, I did not feel that once I was about to make the purchase, that I was given the same type of respect or courtesy as those of the majority are given. The obese store manager, was an unprofessional Hispanic guy with a bad attitude who had me sitting for over 20 minutes while he was allegedly finalizing the contract. During this time he was playing with the receptionist who has the most unprofessional disposition. Things were so bad that I tore up the contract and walked out of the store. Please do not waste your time here unless you are looking for a date or enjoy bad customer service.

I was there 2 times, had 3 different sales rep. I wont mentioned the names but the first one just kept putting things onto my bill. So what I did is I just left and told him Ill be back. I did go back the next day. I went to a different sales rep, who wasnt doing anything but he had an attitude towards me because I look like a student who cant afford any of the furnitures. He started taking me a bit more serious after I told him I want to buy a one thousand dollar table. Still, he left me to help another older guy when he said hes going to check on something for me. After he came back I started to look through the options and asking questions, like how a normal person would when they are about to throw a thousand dollars on a piece of wood they plan to eat on top of. He got annoyed and irritated so he just left me. So as I wondered around the store I saw another sales rep, he was actually trying to finish up some of the paper work but he held on to it and helped me instead. He was friendly and helpful so I did end up buying a furniture from him. Then another problem started when I got my furnitures delivered. The bench had a scratch, I called and spoke to him, he said customer care will contact me. They never did. I tried to call again today and the two representatives on the phone line that direct the calls are just rude as ever. They just hang up on me when I request to me connected to the sales rep. At first I wasnt sure if they had hung up on me because they couldnt hear me. Then I asked and she still hung up on me. So I called 3 times then a guy picks up, he also hung up on me before I even finished the sentence "Hi, may I speak to...." I dont know how these people ended up working there. Maybe they hate their job? They really need to switch the staffs

The first time we went, we ordered a couch and a love seat. $1800 total. After the usual nickel and diming, we were soon at $2300. Still fine and the protection packages and delivery fee all make sense. Next thing you know, Im paying at the counter, and the total is $2600. Turns out that the changes in color we had requested, and were told would be no charge, were charged. After a great deal of complaining and gathering the the family together and making it half-way to the door, the salesman finds some miraculous discount to get me down to $2414. Pissed off! But I wanted the couches. Two weeks later, we decided we would like bunk beds for our kids. We decide to go back. That will be the last time. The salesman was rude! Made comments like, "Do you really need the bed in white that bad? Cant you just paint it?" And, "I dont need you nagging me, my mom already does that." He actually said that to my wife. If I werent a gentleman, I wouldve laid him out. Needless to say, once we get the couches, well never be back. I highly recommend looking elsewhere before ending up here. I hear Darvin is nice... Update: We were told the couches would be here mid-May by our salesperson. Then we were told the end of May by a woman on the phone. Then we were told first week in June by another woman on the phone. Now were being told mid-June. We bought the couches on April 10th. It is now June 10th. Still no couches. The one and only up side of the entire encounter is that I have somehow found the only manager here who gives a crap about customer service. He even refunded me $100. His name is Muhammed. If you do shop here, and I still do not recommend it, please ask for him.
