NO STARS! Buyer beware!!!!!!!!!! I purchased a 2007 Mini Cooper from Quality Cars, Inc., 1090 Hagood Circle NE, in Marietta on July 11th for $11,000. I checked the Carfax and it was clean. I researched the company, I thought. The car had less than 70,000 miles on it. I thought that I had gotten a fair deal. However, the check engine light came on before I got home with the car. (I live about 60 miles south of the perimeter). I didnt know at the time that if you unhook the battery from a car it resets the computer and none of the warning messages will show for about 75 miles (depending on the auto maker). I know it now because the light came on in this car just as I was exiting I75 in McDonough (about 75 miles). I called the dealership and advised them what had happened the next morning (because they were closed by this time). I told the sales manager that I would take it to my mechanic and see what was wrong and let her know. The car was taken to the shop the following Monday morning and has been there ever since. As soon as he fixed one thing something else would tear up. I continued to call the dealership and leave messages throughout the process. Of course no one would call me back. My intention was to repair the car myself. I made the mistake buying a used car from a car LOT. How much could it be? Late model car with low miles. Well $2500 later I find out that the only fix is a new motor ($8000 + labor). I begin calling the dealership again. Guess what the sale manager has changed. I finally went all the way back to Marietta. All of this happened within 90 days and less than 800 miles on the car (all but 100 of which were put on by the mechanic in trying to repair it). Spoke with the manager. Asked that they just help us with the car, didnt ask for my money back. Told him that we were willing to eat what we had already put in the car for repairs if they would just help us resolve the issue. Was told by the new manager that the owner was not in but he would let me know on Monday. That was last Friday. I called today at lunch, of course he was with a customer and was to call me back. Finally my husband called at 4:00 and was told that we were on our own because it had been more than 90 days. IT HAS NOT! I know that $11000 for a car, $2500 for repairs and $8000 + labor (which will be at least twice the cost of the new motor) is not a lot of money for some people but it is for me! My husband and I bought the car as a gift for our daughter who had just finished her first two years of college and was transferring to Georgia State. Needless to say she moved to Atlanta in August without a vehicle. I am a state employee and my husband is disabled as of earlier this year. We cannot afford to lose this kind of money. As I am sure most of you cant. Well now I am in the process of hiring an attorney to sue for fraud. No telling what that will cost me but it will be worth it if it teaches the people a lesson. Please dont think that I am exaggerating, I have all the paper work to prove everything I have said. Learn from me: NEVER BUY A CAR FROM A CAR LOT certainly not Quality Cars in Marietta. Go to a dealership, at least they have more incentive to not sell LEMONS. And remember even due diligence is not enough when purchasing a used car. And by the way, someone keeps taking my posts down from the Quality Cars Facebook page. Wonder who? James and Susan Allen; will be glad to talk with anyone who contacts us.

This "Dealership" is very shady. I would give -5stars if possible. Before I go into detail I will say that the salesman seems to be the only one trying to make an "honest" living. The Management and Owner have a very pompous and standoffish demeanor towards "certain" customers. When the owners lack of welcoming customer service is questioned he starts to talk about how many cars he has for sale and his wealth. Who cares if your a millionaire "all types" of people deserve respect. I drove my father there from Florida to purchase a BMW in the process my cv axle broke. Sam the manager said they would put the axle on if I got the part. I purchased the part and there mechanic drove my car to the work bay and put it on the lift. Sam claims that never took place due to insurance liability however my pictures of him standing next to my car while its on the lift proves otherwise.. Meanwhile my father wasnt understanding why he wasnt getting the $100 discount they offered to give. Sam and the owner became upset and instructed the mechanic to take my car down and park it. My father then had to call USAA to contact the dealership, my father asked Sam if he wanted to speak to them Sam asked to have them call him on the dealership phone. I read where Sam lied and said that he was the one who contacted them. There were so many lies told that I dont have the energy to type them all... Quality Cars claims the oil in all of the cars are changed before there sold. Thats a lie because 20min into the drive back to Florida the oil light came on and my father had to add oil and he got the oil changed after arriving in Florida it was BLACK which means its old... Sam claims that the main issue with the sale was them putting on my cv axle, however my father still purchased the car from them. My car had NOTHING to do with the lies that my father was told and is an attempt to divert from the shady practices of this dealership. The atmosphere when arrived was that we came to inquire about a job detailing cars instead of purchasing one. Ive never visited a dealership where management and the owner looked at you like you were there to solicit or ask to borrow money and not even speak! It took Sam almost 2 hours before he spoke to us, and the owner just stayed upstairs and watched us on the cameras the whole time. When the owner finally came downstairs he didnt speak and power walked to his truck as if he was concerned someone would football tackle him. Beware of this dealership and check (EVERYTHING) out for yourself.

As every one can see, the manager at Quality Cars of Marietta GA Sam, did not address the safety issues of the car that they sold me or the lies about the car being serviced by their mechanics. Sam also lied about me insisting that they fix my sons car, which did break down on the way to the dealership, I only asked if it was possible if they could fix his car because he drove me 300 miles to Marietta GA for the sole purpose of me buying a car from Quality Cars. Not only did Sam agree to fix the car, the mechanic drove my sons car into their shop and put it on the lift. My son has pictures of his car in your shop up on your lift Sam! So why lie! You only refused to fix my sons car after I insisted that you honor your word and give me the $100 discount that you offered to me. I never asked you for an additional $100 discount. You was upset because USAA offered me a discount that you had to give me as well. I also noticed that you failed to mention all the safety issued that Im having with the car that I purchased form Quality Cars and after a month I still do not have the paper work so I can title and register the car. As far as USAA getting involved, what a bald face liar you are. Im the one who called USAA on you. You didnt call them on me. I had to give them your number thats how you got to speak to them. What I should have done was googled your reviews and read all of the other complaints thats listed against your dealership before I purchased the car from you because I see that there are a lot of other dissatisfied customers who believe that you scammed them as well as I do.
