I have brought two cars from here. My first car was alright. It was a 2000 Chevy Cavalier. My other car was absolutely horrible to deal with. That was a 2003 Hyundai Sonata. I was informed that all the parts were brand new. That was a lie. My car started squealing a week after I got it. I took my car to the service dept and was informed that was the way that car was and nothing could be done about it. I was also informed that the car had a ripped axle boot. My alternator died 3 months after I got the car, then my battery died 3 months after that. I had to replace my break pads shortly thereafter. I almost constantly had issues with this car. Yes, there regular maintenance that had to be done but there was much more that this car needed . To my own doing, I overpaid for both of my cars. Are you wondering how bad I got ripped off? I paid about $8,000 more then the KBB value for each car. They were about 7 and 8 years old at time of signing. I got my cars when I was younger, so I was very ignorant. I thought bc I had no credit, that I could only go to buy here pay heres. Please do not fool yourself and think that. You do not have to go to a buy here pay here, get ripped off and get an okay car. Places like this should be your absolute last resort! Please go to actual car dealerships. Your chances of approval are so much better than you think. I dont like writing bad reviews, but I cannot say that I was satisfied with my cars from this place. Positive things I can say about this place is the service dept is superb. They are affordable. They are the reason why this rating got a star more. The sales man, Donnie, was extremely friendly. I liked him too. Even with those two positive things, that is still not worth it to overpay for any car.

I had an excellent experience at JD Byrider. I had to make a few appointments because I didnt have everything together on my end, like all the paperwork I needed. But each time I went and made an appointment with Marc Andrews. He helped me feel comfortable in buying a car and assured me that he would do all that he could to help. When the opportunity came that I had everything ready on my end and we were able to finally start looking at the cars in the lot, Marc made sure to stick with in my budget and he did not pressure me to buy something I wasnt interested in. He listened to the concerns I had and helped answer all of my questions. The second part of my great experience was when I went to talk with Michelle in the financial assistance office. I was really nervous going in because I dont have the best credit, but she also helped me to feel real comfortable and we were able to talk about any issues I had. Regardless of my credit and my financial past, Michelle was able to help me get financed, and find a car with in my budget so that I would be able to succeed and not set up for failure. I was super nervous going in because I didnt have the whole down payment to put down, and I had never bought a car before. I soon found out that I had nothing to be nervous about. Whatever I was able to put down, they worked with me so that I could make payments to cover the down payment. Plus everyone helped me feel comfortable in the fact that not only could I find a car, but that I would be able to do it on my own. Thank you so much for all of your help and patience!

I dont have fantastic credit, just got seperated, and I wont start full time hours for another few months... but needed a car asap. I understood my options were limited. I was super hesistant to try any low credit financing but these guys make you feel comfortable. I started off the day at a different car lot but they looked busy, I heard a few people say to avoid these guys but the online reviews were actually great so gave it a shot. Marc Andrews and Barry genuinely do seem like they understand your situation and will work with you to send you home in a car. They got pretty busy while I was there, the waiting is tough but I could see they were really trying to still provide the best service they could with what they had. Update 1/9- Check oil pressure light has been coming on and cant get through to the service department to get it checked out. The one time I got through I was told itd take a week for an appointment!! That was before Christmas. Left a message via phone Friday 1/6 for them to call me back after waiting to get through to someone for over fifteen minutes. No call back. Requested an appointment over email for service as well and still no communication. Ridiculous. Should not be this big of hassle to make a service appointment!!

QUALITY, at J.D. byrider is definitely the slogan they stand on. Not only did they go above and beyond, to help me and my family get in a great vehicle. My salesman JASON TAYLOR was very professional. He took care of all inquiries, I had about the vehicle. Even checked on other vehicles, that may have been a suitable option and budget for my circumstances while I was on a test drive. It really felt as if he wanted to take care of my situation and not just get another deal done. JASON, also made sure the budget worked for me and my family. Im forever greatfull. Lady helping me with filling out paper work was really nice. She helped me get everything figured out. Told me I didnt need to go back up to work and get my pay stubs, told me that I didnt need to just needed to print off my bank statements showing I had a constant source of funds, or direct deposit from my job. The lady doing the financing however was really rude, and snoby. Told me it would only take a few minutes and we would have everything figured out, for me to go wait in the waiting area. About 5 minutes later, they come out and tell me "We are willing to work with you on payments.. however we need your pay stubs, and we close in 10 minutes." Frusterated because she told me that I didnt need them, I could just print statements from by bank showing direct deposit from my job, and telling me I have to wait until Monday. They told me incorrect information and wouldnt stay open just 15 minutes later knowing what they told me was a mistake. Had she told me earlier when we were filling out paper work I would of had them and drove off the lot that day...
