I went to Kerry Nissan to look at a minivan that was listed on Autotrader. The van I had come to see was no longer available but there was a Honda Odyssey that had just come in as a trade-in. The salesman, Roddy, could not find the keys and did not have any details on the vehicle so he said he would call me and I could come back and look at it. He called the next day and left me a message saying the vehicle was listed at $9,995 and that he had the keys ready. I returned to the dealership to look at the Odyssey but Roddy was off so Richard helped me that day. I took the van for a test drive and showed it to my family. When I came back to the dealership Richard and I sat down to talk about the price. He said it was $9,995 plus taxes, title, and fees and asked how much I was expecting to pay. I told him that I use Kelly Blue Book to price vehicles and that KBB gave a fair market range of $5,800 - $7,500 and since the van was in excellent condition I would expect to pay $7,200. Richard said that his manager would be unlikely to reduce the price more than $2,500 so he asked if I would be willing to pay more. I told him the KBB retail price was $7,821 and since the vehicle was in such good condition I might be willing to pay that suggested retail price of $7,800. He took that to the manager, Gary, who came out a few minutes later to discuss the price. Gary said that KBB isn’t always accurate and that he uses other sources to price his vehicles which is why the asking price was higher, but that he could give me a price of $8,995 plus taxes, title, and fees. I told him that was still more than I thought the vehicle was worth so he then told me he would give me his wholesale price which was $8,495 and he added $200 to my trade-in. I said I wasn’t ready to pay that much so Gary suggested I take the van for a few more hours to see if it would grow on me. I took the van home and decided to check prices on similar vehicles while I was there. In that search I found that Kerry Nissan had listed the Odyssey for $8,995. I went back to the dealership and asked to see Gary. I asked him why the starting price for me was $9,995 when the van was listed online for $8,995. He proceeded to tell me that he had never said $9,995 so I showed him where Richard had written $9,995 + TTF on the paperwork Gary had used to discuss the price with me. Gary said that Richard was mistaken in that price so I then showed him where his other paperwork also had the retail price listed at $9,995. Gary then said that was just the MSRP and tried to brush it off as not important. I’ve never heard of an MSRP for a used vehicle so at that point I decided I’d had enough and told Gary I would look elsewhere. This has been my only experience with Kerry Nissan and while the salesmen were nice, the used car manager made the place feel more like a stereotypical used car lot. I did not feel pressured to buy and it may have been an unusual series of events that took my interaction in the direction it did, but I left feeling that the organization was too focused on maximizing profit.

If I could give Kerry Nissan negative stars I would... They are disrespectful and lie. Dont call or email to discuss anything. You will talk to your first liar named Tony. He will lie to get you into the dealership. Upon arrival at the appointment Tony set, you are given to a sales person who supposedly has been informed by Tony of what he promised. You test drive, fill out papers, then here comes the biggest liar... The General Manager to talk to you about your great deal. Cant wait to tell you how great .... With a credit score of 792 I was told 584.00/month for a base model rogue that I could have bought for 23,000. It was laughable even before I told him that Tony had already discussed our deal ... "At most , it will be 250/month , it depends on your credit. " So excited , I take my daughter to purchase her first car. But then learn it was all lies and to top it off the general manager yells across the showroom as we are leaving " you are gonna walk away from her car for the difference" Real mature and professional. .... He followed outside and apologized and asked for me to give him a chance to make it right. Well its 3 days later and we havent heard from him. So to end this review... I do want to thank Kerry Nissan for reminding me how wonderful Jeff Wyler is... Daughter got her Rogue... Exact one for 233.00/month. Nissan I would really think about taking Kerry off of you list of sellers before they ruin your name.

I went to Kerry Nissan with a busted EVAP canister and worn brakes for my 1997 Nissa Pathfinder. I scheduled my appointment and dropped the car off at 8:00 AM the morning when they asked. They said by that afternoon they would have looked at it and let me know. At noon I called and they said that they were still looking. I called again at 4, still looking. The guy said that theyd look more in the morning so I was without a car for that evening. After they looked some more(apparently) I heard back from them about 2:00 PM the following day(after I called 3 times) and was told what was wrong. They quoted me 950 dollars to replace the EVAP canister and another 600 for the brakes. I said just do the brakes and Ill worry about the EVAP later. 2 days later when I got the car back the brakes were repaired but squealed like crazy. The vents in my car also no longer worked and after bringing it to another dealership they let me know that they were broken from the inside, something I obviously couldnt have done. The dealership also told me that an EVAP canister should only be about 500 to replace, not 950 and that the vents will cost me another 500. So I spent 700 dollars to "fix" my car but the "fix" cost another thousand bucks in repairs. In short, this place returns calls at their convenience, "fixes" things by breaking them some more and then overcharges. Youd be better to You Tube the fix and try it for yourself.

Attentiveness to detail: ZERO Found a car online and contacted the dealership to make sure it was there. Received a call back saying, "You are in luck, we still have it! What time can you come in? Meet with [REDACTED] and hell introduce you to the dealership as well as give you a free gift!" My girlfriend and I go down to the dealership to meet with [REDACTED] only to find out that person was off. We were then told that the automobile had sold LAST NIGHT. We were encouraged by the sales person and the manager to let them look for another one, we gave them the requirements and after two "trips" to talk to the used car manager they came back and said they didnt have anything that met our passenger needs; but lets go down to the used lot and look. 1. Dont know if the person I am to meet is actually at work? Hint: CHECK IF THEY ARE THERE AND AVAILABLE BY CALLING THEM! 2. Dont know if the vehicle I am requesting information about is sold or not? Hint: GO TALK TO SOMEBODY, PUT YOUR HANDS OR EYEBALLS ON THE CAR! 3. Dont know if you have something in stock that meets my needs? HINT: LISTEN TO ME! YOU KNOW, LIKE I DID TO YOU WHEN YOU SAID YOU HAD MY CAR, TO MEET THE GUY THAT WASNT THERE, OR WHEN I GAVE YOU THE DETAILS TO THE QUESTION, "What are you looking for in a car?" As my five year old says about vegetables, "THEY ARE HORRRRRIBLE!"
